I was thinking about doing the newbie routine 4 days a week. Something along the line of this on Monday and Tuesday, off Wednesday, on Thursday and Friday, and off the weekend. Would this be a good routine or should I just stick to 2 days on and 1 day off?

I guess the thing I am asking about is that will 2 days in a row off slow my progress down at all?

It’s hard to say what’s going to work for any one individual. That’s why we recommend starting with the Newbie Routine and sticking with it for 90 days to become accustomed to your penis and how it responds to the exercise. Unless you’re absolutely convinced you need to change the schedule, try the newbie for a few months then start worrying about making modifications.

Don’t really think about changing anything till your finished with the Newbie Routine. I know that doing the 2 on 1 off routine makes you PE on different days every week and this might throw you off, but it works best. Remember not to pull to hard when stretching and not grip too hard when jelqing. Read around a lot and PE safe.

My First Real Attempt:

2006 Start: 6.25" BPEL and 5" EG - 2012 7.625" BPEL / 4.875" EG / 8.063" BPFSL. (All manual routine)

Having one two day off period per week might help you learn how your penis is responding.

But remembering not to pull and grip too hard as kingding says may be just as important.

PE has to be done in conjunction with life. If you can find a consistent schedule that works for you that would be better than trying to stick to one that doesn’t work with the other demands of your life.

Everyone seems to agree that days off are important, some need more, some less. I have been at this for 4 months and have found one on, one off works well for me.

I wouldn’t worry about varying the Newbie Routine to incorporate an extra rest day. If you’re going to modify the Newbie Routine, change it on the side of doing a little less, not more - and that’s what you’ve done. Your gains may not come quite as rapidly, but some speculate that _over_doing leads to strengthening, not lengthening, and that is not the path you want to go down, especially as a newbie.

So do the Newbie Routine four days a week, measure now and then, and watch your Physiological Indicators. And then report back and let us all know how it’s going for you.
