OK. I’ve been pumping for a short time. I have recently started the newbie routine. But from simple observations I’ve noticed that when I pack my tube from head to base n us that is how I pack , I can increase the vacuum and get a .5in stretch. Now I have been trying some hanging. The method I’m using is the vlc tugger. Some of the other clamps falls off. So I’ve been trying to find my optimum low end weight. Don’t want to go too high so my plateau weight is low. At the point I get the half inch stretch is around 5in/hg. So 5 in/hg creates about 2.45psi pull. The I.d. Of my tube is 1.75 which is around 2.5in2. Multiply the 2 numbers together have me around 4.9lbs. So my ideal weight is 5lbs. So hopefully that will help me on my gains.

That is the best way to go with any hanging. Your thread title is fine; I’m just way short on sleep and easily (self) amused.
