Personal experience with clamping

I’ve been clamping every day now for two weeks. I do two or three 15-20 minute sets with constant edging and kegels. I’m starting to achieve about 7/16” mid-shaft expansion from my current MSEG of 5.5”. I think this is pretty promising for achieving permanent growth as I continue. I guess my only confusion is why this method is considered so dangerous. I trust the community wisdom here for most folks, but my experience has been extremely problematic with the “safer” method of jelqs. With clamping I get no spots, no freaky chub donut, no tired hands, and no craziness trying to stay semi-hard for extended periods. In my mind it seems like clamping would HAVE to be inherently safer since you simply can’t exceed your own blood pressure from simply wearing a clamp, whereas with jelqs the sky is pretty much the limit as to how much pressure you can create within the penis. Obviously people have had problems with clamping or people here wouldn’t be so quick to throw the “experts only” tag on it, but has anyone else had my experience?

Well, as I understand it, you absolutely can, and that’s the entire point of clamping. The goal is to kegel blood into the penis while the clamping action severely restricts outflow. In this way you can force excessive pressure on the tissue that is well beyond it’s normal capacity. Like any exercise, PE-related or otherwise, it comes with some risk, and understanding what it is, what it’s for, how it works and the warning signs of going too far helps to mitigate that risk and stay safe while working toward gains.

I don’t think anyone would recommend jelqing over clamping for you if you’ve found them to be problematic or feel at risk doing them. Stick with what works for you.

I like doing jelqs to loosen up and then doing my clamping set.

Every time I try clamping, I get a crazy amount of red spots that take days to go away. I wish it didn’t as it seems like a great girth exercise.

Goals: First: 7 1/2 bpel x 5 1/2 mseg ACHIEVED! Current Goal: 7 nbp x 5 3/4 mseg (almost there!)

I suppose you’re correct, now that I think more about it. How much pressure you can create with your PC muscle is really the question. For me it seems like I can too easily create too much pressure with my hands. Perhaps that will change for me as my PC muscle strengthens, but by then I should be a clamping pro!

Newbies should not clamp. If you are a newbie, do the hands only newbie routine for at least 3 months before using devices. Way too easy to hurt yourself unless you have the knowledge you gain doing a hands only newbie routine.
