Does peno-scrotal web “turkey neck” cause any restrictions in gains? I have gained in erect length, but not in flacid state (wich is smaller than average)

I don’t think it can restrict gains, because skin is the easiest part of the penis to stretch. Your skin can easily accomodate any new penile growth.

Try doing a search for “turkey neck” or other such terms. There has been a lot posted on the topic.

I have a terrible turkey neck problem. Or, I should say, had a terrible turkey neck problem. Mine was caused by an overly tight circumcision. When I developed at puberty, the shaft grew longer than the skin I had left could accomodate and the rest was borrowed from the scrotum and the hair-bearing pubic area.

This is what I have done to get the nutsack back where it is supposed to be: stretch your flaccid out as far as possible with your left hand, holding at the glans. With your right hand, grasp your scrotum and pull the opposite direction. It will hurt a little as you stretch the bottom side shaft skin, but eventually you will cause the skin to expand and stretch and your scrotum will slowly migrate back to where it is supposed to be. You can also do this: while erect, grip your penis loosely with one hand and pull the skin down toward the base. This is also slightly painful, but helps with both hairy shaft syndrome and turkey neck.

Skin is not as stretchy as some people think. A simple experiment will prove this. All you have to do is pull your loose skin over the glans, tape it securely in place and then give yourself a boner [effectively reducing your shaft skin by half]. Try it and you will see why I believe that tight circumcisions can restrict penile size.

Turkey neck will not restrict gains, although it may make your penis appear smaller than it really is visually. Turkey neck is a product of penile shaft growth with insufficient skin to accomodate it. The cure is to make more skin. That’s just my opinion, tho.

I don’t want to hi-jack this thread into another topic, but kong’s remedy for turkey neck is very close to non-surgical foreskin restoration (FR), which is really another name for creating more shaft skin. It is a well-known fact among FR experts that a too tight circumcision in infancy can cause a major problem as an adult, which is just what kong said: the shaft grows longer than the remaining foreskin can stretch. Searches on FR can provide more info on this procedure.

But an overly tight circumcision is not the only cause of turkey neck. It can also be caused by jelqing and hanging; again searches can provide more info.

If I may digress: I’m the dad of an adult son who, as a baby, had a very tight circumcision, which I deeply regretted. Even as an infant, I noted that when he became erect his penis could not stretch to its normal length because of the tight foreskin. My problem is that, after I learned about non-surgical foreskin restoration, I’ve wanted to approach my son about this matter and to tell him that he can, indeed, do FR exercises (many of which are very similar to our PE exercises) to lengthen his foreskin and allow him to have longer and more comfortable erections. I would even be willing to show him pics of my penis before and after FR that I did on myself, to show that it works. However, I don’t know how to talk to him about this without freaking him out. In my way of thinking, it’s OK for a dad to talk freely with his adult son about such matters, and even to have a show-and-tell session, but I’m afraid it would only scare him away. My other objective is to introduce him to PE so that he can benefit from all it has to offer, but I don’t even know what size his penis is, nor has he seen mine. In fact, we’ve never even stood side by side at a urinal and pissed together, having always avoided any situation that would lead to that scenario. Is Gettingbigger1 saying that he doesnt have enough skin on his penis or is he saying that he has to much. I believe I have the problem of not having enough skin. I also want to fix this problem. Should I do these exercises?

If there is a need, there should obviously be some threads devoted to this. In fact, I believe skin expansion is a very valuable aid to penis enlargement. Skin is just not as stretchy as some guys think, and it obviously will have a limiting effect on penis enlargement if there is a lack of it. I don’t think it is such a big problem for men who are loosely cut with very minor scarring, but we are not all that lucky, and anything that can aid us in enlarging our penis and increasing our sexual satisfaction should be embraced, regardless of cultural beliefs or personal opinion. Don’t dismiss the obvious benefits of skin expansion just because it might seem outlandish. If it can be employed to help a number of men attain their penis enlargement goals, it should be discussed, experimented with and either proved and embraced or disproved and discarded. It is useful in not only fixing a pre-existing problem, but helping alleviate the pe-related side effect of turkey neck.

WannaB9X7: When my son was 17 or so, I educated him about PE and FR. We have always had an open relationship. Nudity in my household was never considered embarassing or impolite. We all pee with the bathroom door open, shower, change, whatever, in front of each other. I think it is actually psychologically healthy if the exposure is strictly non-sexual. My son noticed an increase in the size and the appearance of my penis after I began to do PE and FR and was curious so I told him how it all worked. He was not very interested in it, however, until he became sexually active. After he started an intimate relationship, he came back to me for more info. If you’re going to tell them about the birds and bees, you might as well tell them everything. Just be mindful of their “comfort zone” and try to let them know the pros and cons of both sides of the issue [ both pe and fr ] so that they can proceed from their own needs and not your biases and ideas.

kong, those are wise words indeed. Your son is very lucky to have you as his dad, and BTW, Happy Father’s Day (I’ll see my two grown, married sons Sunday, so I’m a happy dad as well).

Kong, it sounds like you know a lot about solving Turkey Neck. Why don’t you read all the old threads here pertaining to it and start a new one (with a nice clear title like “how to correct turkey neck”) that summarizes the techniques available? I’ve always wanted to reduce my turkey neck, but I’ve been too lazy to incorporate the stretches into my exercise routine. I gained skin through hanging, but most of the skin stretch happened near the base of the penis, which actually led to more shaft hair and turkey neck, rather than less.

Anyway, I’m sure there are many guys here who would be interested in information about specifically stretching skin — to reduce turkey neck, to restore a foreskin, whatever — and it seems like you’re an expert on the topic. Feel free to share your knowledge and experiences. As long as you don’t sound like you’re proselytizing against circumcision, I think you’ll find a uniformly receptive audience.

I’m no expert, para-goomba. I think it’s just a common sense approach to fixing a common problem. I will read all the old threads about turkey neck here on the forum. Maybe there’s something about it I don’t know and can incorporate into my routines and my advice.

It might be that the two techniques you mentioned are all there is to it — I’m not sure and can’t remember anything else. I just think it would be helpful to have the info compiled in one thread so that we could link newbies to the “definitive answer” when they ask about fixing turkey neck. By the way, I’m not sure I had heard the “pull down the shaft skin toward the scrotum while erect” method before you. It makes a lot of sense, and I’d sort of done it before, instinctively, but I think most guys have only tried the flaccid pulling-in-opposite-directions method for turkey neck fixing.

Come to think of it, I guess this would be just such a thread that could be linked to in the future. It has a relevant, accurate title, so it shouldn’t get lost among the thousands of threads here :)

LOL. I believe we made a linkie! In summary, peno-scrotal webbing does not hinder PE gains, although it may visually make your penis appear smaller. It is caused by overly tight circumcisions or as a side-effect of PE… although I wonder, para-goomba, if it is from doing the exercises incorrectly or if it is because the shaft is growing faster than the skin can accomodate. Maybe a little of both. There are two basic exercises that can be done to alleviate the problem, as outlined above. It is a common problem that is basically just visually undesirable and the fix is just as basic. Stretch it back. I think you could also prevent it from occuring during PE exercises by pulling the penis through the pee-hole of a tight pair of briefs instead of hanging free during your routine, but I always like to freeball it.
