Penis extender recommended use

I was wondering if anybody had any words of wisdom for using the penis extender/stretcher. I’ve used it on and off for about a year and haven’t seen any significant gains. I usually do an hour every other day. Should I stretch longer or more frequently. I don’t want to over do it and I know it wouldn’t be safe to keep it stretched too long and don’t want to ruin erection quality. So if I could get some advice or some sort of routine that has worked for somebody else i’d appreciate it. Thanks!

Yeah you need to wear it 4-6 hours a day, every day, as long as your penis can stand it. Extenders are a proven method, but not unless you apply them religiously. I have 1000+ hours in mine, it’s a daily routine. Your will build up a regimen that works for you. Mine is to warm up with stretching, apply talcum powder, put on the extender, go for about 1.5 hours. Take a break, do it again another 1.5, and so on. If the head is not swelling enough to hold the noose, then I use a pump to get the blood flowing again. You’ll really get to know your physiology after a while. Extending is a very slow but sure process, something like 1.5 inches per 2 thousand hours.

Like I said, I am after length only. Never did anything for girth or wanted that. I have a smallish head and fair length, I figured I could get some more length and extenders offered that. So far more than .75” in added length. Another unexpected improvement from wearing a bareback noose extender 1000+ hours has been my glans corona has grown quite a bit, quite noticeably. This is something pleasant and unexpected, makes sense when you think how much tension is on that region of the penis while extending. The ring also has a coarser texture than before PE, and looks better, more leathery.

Rhinoguy, how often do you add a rod or increase the length of your extender?

I was reading the guild for my andropenis extender and thought the interval at which you add rods is aggressive. In 5 months of wearing the andropenis device I’ll have added a total of 10 cm(~4 inches) in rods. I’m not sure if this is achievable. But, I’ll do my best to stick with it. Presently, I’m on day 14 and still getting used to wearing it.

It’s not about tension numbers and rods as it is about keeping the penis under tension. I believe the Andropenis has verniers with rings stamped on the verniers. Each ring equates with a certain amount of tension being exerted on the penis. Doesn’t matter what the ring indexes to, it matters what you can accept in reasonable comfort. Having a device tug on your dick is never going to be hugely comfortable, but if it hurts that is too much tension. Use comfort as your guide. In addition, my own penis extender (x4 Labs) tested to no where near the stated tension values, so I tend to doubt any of them are properly calibrated for tension. As far as rods and length, use the number of rods and length that permit steady firm tension on your penis. Do not get caught up in this stuff about length should be this and length should be that- just use enough rods to tension your penis whatever the number is. Who cares what the number is, it does not matter! Tension matters. Your routine will build up over a period of months to be 4 hours or more, just keep trying different things. Never go more than 2 hours at a time for circulation reasons.

I think a lot of guys go with way too much tension on their extender. I started out with the length of the arms being a quarter inch shorter than my bone pressed length, and I got phenomenal length gains like that. I was wearing it for four or five hours a day, five days a week. I gained a half inch in two weeks. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it myself. I thought I was going to have an eight incher in less than three months. Of course my gains slowed to where I was only gaining a quarter inch every two weeks, and then they stopped altogether. But having gone from six inches to seven and a quarter in just six weeks. I was pretty ecstatic. Oh what I would give to gain like that again.

Thanks for your wise words, Rhinoguy. It’s what I needed to hear to knock the dust off my cheap extender and get back to work.

I have an older model that I bought online from xtoysboutique for $180. This model does not have a measured way to adjust tension. To add tension, it has screw on thread on each leg that may be twisted to increase tension. I pay extremely close attention when I increase tension as not not cause injury.

Other than that, what you have stated has been my thought process all along; go slow, take breaks due to numb glans of nerves screaming in pain, and make sure tension is applied. What you have stated affirms that I’m doing well and am ahead of the game.

Wow ! I tried the andropenis for a couple of months then it started to break, I paid 200$ for it.. I don’t believe they work after trying a couple of models, maybe some work, but not the ones I tried.

Extenders the more hours the better! Your dick may get tired so don’t use it on nights you know your going to get laid. If you don’t have the time you would be better off with a jelqing routine. If you have privacy you should be wearing your extender while on the computer and watching TV it’s the perfect lazy PE workout and very effective.

First off, Dino9X7, glad to see you back posting.. Always enjoyed reading your post.

To OP, more time is definitely needed. I’ve only been wearing my extender for just over two months this past week. So far I have recorded a BPFSL gain of 3/8” gain. I have not measured EL gain and will not for some time. When I reach 1/2” BPFSL gain, I will measure. I hope to at least have a 1/8 - 3/16” gain. I wear anywhere from 2 to 6 hours a day. The past 2 weeks I have gotten lazy and taken quite a few days off.

When I look back on my progress I had when I first started PE I gained a lot in the ligs. Actually it was all lig gains. I made slightly over a one inch gain in 6 months with a loss of 1/8” in girth. My stretching involved a lot of heat, at least a 10 minute warmup time. I would hold my stretches upwards of 2 minutes in every direction with the exception of straight down, which was a 3 minute hold. I would gradually increase tension on my pulling motion as I felt myself relax. To explain this better, here’s what I would do. I would do PC flexes and feel the pullback. As my penis became tired, the pullback would become less. This did take some time which is why I was stretching upwards of 30 minutes. I would tug, say for example, 1 minute, then pull a little harder. Maintain the tension for another 30 seconds or so and tug a bit more. I could feel a slight burn in my ligs as I did this, but I never injured myself from stretches and my EQ was excellent.

For my own personal experiment I’m going back to this routine before strapping into the extender. Also, I’ll be using those pocket/hand warmers that you use in cold weather or for camping with a protective layer and some medical tape to hold in place once strapped in. I’ve thought about possibly using DMSO on the ligs with a Q-tip, but I hate that I smell like it afterwards and taste that develops in your mouth is disgusting. I may try it later if I’m having success, but for now I’ll omit it.

My experience so far with the extender is this. I think it’s important to share because I was ready to give up on it early on. I’ve owned my extender for almost a year. When I first got it (from LeLuv, btw), it was too uncomfortable. I couldn’t even wear it for 20 minutes. I tried for weeks on end to find a comfortable method of strapping in to no avail. Read all the threads on making it more comfortable and nothing seemed to work, especially since I kept slipping out of it. I have smallish glans, which made it difficult. I put the extender away for several months and made another attempt with a modification to the noose because the strap simply didn’t work for me. I found that wrapping the noose with a small piece of material and securing with medical tape to help. I was able to wear comfortably for 20 minutes, then a half hour, then a bit more until I was able to strap in for 2 hours at a time. Hope this helps and wish me luck with my experiment.

Rhinoguy, you often mention your noose material is ” McMaster Carr 3/16” diameter, 96505K24 red rubber cord” in other threads. Where can i get this?

I just started wearing my extender again, since I just did the velcro strap modification. Much better than the noose or comfort strap.
