Any measurements carries a degree of error. That is a basic rule in empirical science that I learnt when I was a kid: every measurement is meaningless without a margin of error. In case of penis measurements, the degree of error is a noticeable problem IMHO. In my mind, I always apply this rule: ‘An inch increase is whitin the margin of error.’. Why? Because looking at penis size studies, you can see that males who self-report theirs size add on average half inch.
