Is an indicator of weak understanding that we don’t get why certain people don’t gain from doing the same thing as those who purport to have gained. If it’s a simple mechanical process, then why is there massive variation in response?
I would say there is an element of a “do it yourself” factor to this too. By that I mean, it’s not like we are all in the same room and able each other to show proper technique in a hands on environment. Individually, we are limited by our own interpretations of how these exercises should be performed as well as limited by the constraints of the internet.
10 different guys could follow the same internet instructions on how to fix a leaky faucet, but their individual results could vary anywhere between a properly fixed faucet, to one covered in duct tape, to a faucet that has been ripped out and thrown against the wall… heck, one might even shut off the water and vow to never use that sink again! :)
