Hi!
Sorry that my first post here is a question. I have been lurking these boards for quite some time, and I have been PEing a little, though without any real results. The problem is that I still live at home with my parents (I’m 21), and its pretty hard to get enough privacy for a good PE session. I usually only do jelqs, since I’m going for girth. I can jelq in the privacy of my room, but it is the warming up part that poses problems. It’s hard to sneak around with warm towels or ricesocks, and all the sneaking also makes me kind of anxious, and that ruins the whole session for me. The only time I get to do a good, long session with warmup and warmdown is when both my parents and my sisters are away, and that seldom happens. I really want to move out, but money is an issue.

So, I was wondering:

1. Is it better to do many short 10 min jelqing sessions without warmup (like twice a day or so), and then a few good long sessions when I have the opportunity, or is it counterproductive to jelq without prior warming up?

And

2. I understand that jelqing without warming up is more dangerous, and that I have to take it easy. Will these non-hard 30-70% jelqs have any effect, or is it just a waste of time?

1. I think you should be ok. Just pay attention to make sure there are no negative indicators associated with your PE. Obviously a warm up in a nice relaxed environment is ideal, but some PE is better than no PE.
2. It’s what I did in the beginning. It did no harm. I believe that the general consensus at the time was lower erection level jelqing is better for length and higher erection level jelqing is better for girth.

Other than that,, have a search for stealth PE. Plenty of PE-ers are PE-ing in imaginative and secretive ways.:)

Go to the bathroom, use a big mug and fill it with HOT water (barely bearable) and dip all that will fit in the mug. Repeat a few times since water cools fast and then jelq in the bathroom.

Just do your session in the bath or shower- that way you can warm up and there is less anxiety (as long as you have a lock). I only have a shower but I’ve heard people say that clamping in the bath gives them extra expansion and it makes sense. If you are just starting you should avoid clamping for a while but you can do some dry jelqs in the bath with a similar result. 10 minutes is all you need for the newbie routine anyway.

Secretman—There’s no proof, as in well-worked out scientific data, that warm-ups make a significant difference. What we have is a ton of anecdotal reports and speculation as to how warm-ups might make things better. You will find that is a common factor is just about all things PE—speculation rules, even when someone speaks with an aura of certainty. So, you will find one guy asserting that warm-ups made all the difference, while the next says he never did them while becoming one of the big gainers. That’s all part of the fun of PE—it’s a huge, fucking mystery.

My opinion is that it is better to do some PE than none at all (if you want a bigger dick + better EQ). So don’t worry over getting warm-ups squeezed into whatever routine you can sneak into your day. Just start more slowly with jelqs and/or stretches, carefully working up to safe newbie levels of intensity. You can always get a few extra stretches during bathroom visits and the like.

Read carefully the stickied information at the top of the Newbie Forum so that you know how to approach PE safely and sanely. When you can, work your way through the archived threads around the forums, as there is a lot of good information spread around Thunders.

If you can, jelq at 4 or 5am. You must warm up! Have a slow-running quiet tap in the bathroom going.. And keep it going until warm up is finished; about 15min, for me. Keep the cloth in the bathroom too and tell others not to use it! This is how I go about it anyway. Plus, it is nice to get jelqing out the way before work.

Find a way to use heat. I am in camp of “heat is essential for gains.”

What about a plug in heating pad?

Hey secretman! Warm up makes things down there more pliable and stretchy. No, it is not essential. And yes, you can do PE without a warmup, but you need to be more careful. Warming up is the best thing to prevent injury in my opinion.

If you can’t find the privacy to warm up, look up on Luka’s warmup bottle, or tuck your penis between your legs for a couple of minutes - not a proper warmup, but better then nothing.

i have seen that if i do stretching and jelqling without warming my penis is a lot more hard to handle,it’s a lot less “malliable”

IR lamp works well for stealth. No lugging or advanced prep! You just need to come up with a plausible excuse for the lamp.. Like it’s good for psoriosis or something. Stealth is not just for you young ones, having little kids running around gets you very creative!

It takes a while but evryone knows I have “bathroom time needs”. Of course they don’t know the reason. So there is no warm-up. It is very forceful jelqing and I’ve had no injuries in the month I’ve been doing PE seriously. I think you are better to get it on the run than not at all. Good luck with the PE.

Reject the basic assumptions of civilizations, especially the importance of material possessions.

You can keep a kettle in your bedroom. Just heat the water up and pour it into a big salad bowl with your cloth in it, you will have enough hot water to warm up. Then heat it up again for the stretches, as the heat is very helpful to stretch that little bit more and prevent injury. And finally heat it up a last time to warm down.
