To add a little perspective, my original hanging guidance from American Bodycrafters in 1996 said “do this,”* so I did that every single day, only skipping days when I had no choice. I had no complaints with 1.25” (3.175 cm) in four months.

For me, this reflects hive mind’s need for consensus, protocols, and routines. Nothing wrong with that, and it’s great to have feedback, advice, and encouragement, but in the end none of us—so far—really knows. I agree you’re wasting time with days off, if it feels that way to you. Just my opinion.
