Hey guys,

Sorry if this thread is in the wrong place. I’ve been lurking around Thunders for a while but I don’t post often enough to start a new thread anywhere else but here.

I found a thread a while back about weightlifting while doing PE. I don’t mean simultaneously of course, I just mean that you go to the gym and PE on the same day.

I can’t seem to find that thread now and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. Or, even better, if you have any insight/opinions yourselves.

Here are my questions:

1. Is it ok to go to the gym the same day that you PE?

It seems like, since PE is supposed to increase the blood flow to your penis and devices like ADS are intended to keep it in an extended state throughout the day, that weight training in the gym would contradict this. I say this because weight training pushes all of your blood into the muscles that you’re working out. Often, after a session in the gym, I find that my flaccid is smaller (since the blood has been pushed elsewhere in my body). Don’t the two counteract each other?

2. If there’s anybody reading this who has successfully gained length through PE while regularly going to the gym, what order did you do them in?

Did you go to the gym in the morning and PE at night?
Did you PE in the morning and go to the gym at night?
Did you go to the gym but PE at various times throughout the day?
What schedule did you follow to achieve your goals in both areas?

Here’s a little bit about me and my goals in case they’re relevant to how I should juggle going to the gym with PE (and I’m sure they are):
Age: 22
BPEL: 6”
Uncircumcised
Currently trying to gain length. I’m hanging with a Vac Extender.
Goals in the gym: I’m trying to bulk up. I’m 5’6” and 155lbs with roughly 12% body fat. I want to get to 165 and 9%.
I currently go to the gym 5 or 6 days a week.
Due to a failure to gain previously, I decided to take a decon break. I’m just now starting PE again.

I’ve seen this topic addressed before, I just can’t seem to find it for some reason using the search bar. Any help would be much appreciated. Or if you know of any relevant threads I’d appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Thanks in advance guys!

Subscribing because I would like to know this as well. I don’t spend much time in the gym, but I work out at home and make the occasional trip to the gym. It would be good to know if I am being counterproductive with my PE.

BTW, my personal two cents:

I haven’t had major gains with PE. I have been working out (in the gym/weight room) for over 10 years. I’ve done a lot of research over the years about how the body works and have a pretty good understanding of human biology (I’m studying it as my major in college, actually). I personally, can’t think of any real reason one would affect the other negatively. Some “shrinkage” can happen at any time of the day, and I don’t think the hour or so in the gym is going to have any greater effect on your body than any other time of the day.


Starting measurements (August 2009): BPEL: 7.625in EG:6.25in BPFSL: 7.5in flaccid BP length:4in

Current measurements (Oct. 2012): BPEL: 8in EG: 6.625in BPFSL: 8.375 in flaccid BP length: 6in

Current goal: BPEL: 9in EG: 7in

What I do is every other day on both cases. It works the best for me.

I usually PE in the morning, work out at night. Haven’t seemed to have any negative effects.


BPEL - 5 5/8" --- Goal 6"

MSEG - 4.5 " ---- Goal 4.75 "

I am currently lifting weights while doing PE.

I am not always able to time everything exactly as I would like but when I can I try and do my PE as soon after I go to the Gym as I can.

This is usually in the evenings

My logic is 2-fold

First … My overall body temp and heart rate is elevated from the workout and I am guessing that that helps with PE

Second … My understandign is that Testosterone levels are higher avter a workout and I believe that this also helps with PE.


Starting (10 / 2011): 6.50 BPEL, 5.50 MEG

Current: 7.50 BPEL, 6.00 MEG

Goal: 8.50 BPEL 6.50 MEG

Printman, I may be completely wrong, but I think that testosterone levels dip as you lift. I think I heard this from bodybuilding.com though. It seems to me like there are all kinds of contradicting articles on that site…or maybe I’m just confused.

If you overtrain and don’t get enough rest and proper nutrition your testosterone levels can drop, it happened to me. That being said, you train hard and get your rest, you’ll get a boost in testosterone. Definitely do not skip weight lifting in favor of PE in my opinion, weightlifting has changed my life, I literally went from getting the occasional girl to look my way, to most women looking my way. Put in the effort in the gym, it is well worth it.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. And thanks for the links BTBassist. I’ll be sure to check those out.

I weight train in the morning and PE when I get home. I haven’t seen any negative side affects from weight training and PE at the same time. In fact I tend to think they help each other.

Yeah I expereince erection prblems after workout however I do not have a wife to have sex with LOL!

It would not be a good idea to jelq hbut I wear an extender later in the evening

I think I’m going to start pumping in the IR sauna as well!
