Here was my list of points of living on your own versus living at home at your age.
Pros - On Your Own
*Gain lots of life experiences and a new found respect of responsibilities
*Matured more because of those responsibilities
*No curfew = no stress about explaining why you are out so late
*You can have anyone over as you please
*Lots and lots of bills and a lot of small things that you must have to cover (however, if you are going to be little bitch and ask your parents for money to bail you out on things then you will rob yourself of the most important life lesson and that learning to be your own independent person)
*Giving you privacy that you need. I.e. PE
Pros - Living With Parents
*If you have a part time job or full time, you can take advantage of all that money and invest into HIGH risk things that may pay off since you have no responsibility (This is the STRONGEST reason why you should consider living at home). I managed to build a big enough real estate portfolio and stocks that I could move out and rent somewhere and the income from my stocks/properties would pay my rent.
*Taking care of your parents if they are not able to do so on their own. (This is another strong reason if they are not able to take care of themselves)
*Being around family (You may not realize this now unless you already have but spending time and creating those memories of your family becomes the most important thing in your life when you get to my age)
*If you are a little bitch (lol and I’m hoping you are not) BUT this can be a positive point, they take care of you, cooking, cleaning, laundry, girl problems, etc.
There are probably more from other members that will add to the list to help you decide on what you would like to do but considering your age I would suggest to stay at home and stack your money wisely and you will be able to draw an income from those investments.
