Palms down, palms up HUH Help needed :

Well basically, I am not quite sure what everyone here means when they say palms down or palms up.

SO.I think it would be of much benefit to me and possible ‘noobs’ on the site to see images of various people and they’re physical definition of what the two mean.

In other words, could you guys please post pictures of what the two are, and your jelq grip please.

Dare I say PRETTY PLEASE? :)

1. Left is palm up, right is palm down on ~ this picture.

2. Palms up is similar to your favourite daily habit, palm down is.. (edit: nah, sorry description inappropriate)

This may not be the total answer to what you are looking for but very quickly and simply, as you are looking at your hands palms up, you can see the palms of your hand because they are turned up. Palms down, you see the back of your hands because the palms are turned down.

The way the palms are turned, either up or down can make a significant difference in how far one can reach with thumb and forefinger pressure.

As you can well appreciate with self diagnosis, palms down will give you a longer jelqing area than palms up. In the case of palms up, you may find that you will have better visual observation of the jelqing stroke.
