Hello everyone!

I’ve been doing the newbie routine for about 2 months and in the beginning I noticed that I got rock hard erections and that I was clearly lasting longer in bed, which I was very happy about.

2 weeks ago I experienced that my morning wood wasn’t the same as before, (not as hard) and that my sex-drive was almost completely gone. I took this as a sign of over-training and took a few days of, when the morning wood came back I started PE:ing again with the same routine as before.

Now it’s the same thing all over again, I cum very fast during sex, I have almost no morning wood and almost no sex-drive. Although when my gf gets me going I get great erections which are bigger than when I started PE.

Should I take a rest from PE and if so for how long?
Also, should I start over from 10 min jelqing? (Currently at 20 min)

This is quite frustrating because I really like to PE and hate to spill any time!

Well I have increased the time jelqing from 10 to 15 and quite recently to 20 min and I’m now on a 3 days on 1 day off routine. I have also switched to dry jelqing.

Your system will adapt.

You do need to rest from the PE for a while and slowly return.

There are other factors such as diet, sleep, hormonal cycle etc., but rest is a good first step and see what happens.

I would say that it sounds like you are not giving yourself enough time for recovery between sessions. 3 days on, 1 day off might be a bit too much for you to handle, especially considering you are implementing dry jelqs (they are much more strenuous than wet jelqs). Either change your routine to 2 days on 1 day off, or 1 day on 1 day off and see how you respond to that.

I deal with the same issues, but at a 2 on, 1 off, I probably get even more rest than you. Two days off usually does the trick for me, then “listening” for signs of fatigue and adjusting routine accordingly. Sex is strenuous on your dick too, so don’t discount the effect of PE’ing and sex the same night, your boy has already been squeezed and stretched like crazy.
