Overtraining.

Overtraining.

Does anybody else find it hard not to overtrain? I stretch, jelq, and pump daily. I believe stretching is good even on my days off, but find it hard not to at least jelq or pump a little even on my days off.

It’s hard to not overtrain on the newbie routine. I always feel like I should just do more, but I’m sticking to a simple routine for now.


Start: Dec 2009 - 5.75 [BPEL] x 5.25 [MSEG] 5.5 [BASE]

April 2010 - 6.00 [BPEL x 5.3 [MSEG] 5.5 [BASE]

Current Goal: - 7.00 NBPEL x 5.75 [MSEG & BASE]

Yeah it takes a while before you can really dig in. Even if I take a break I have to be careful when coming back from it. That’s when I tend to overtrain.

I just have to remind myself that an injury will put a stop to all PE. So I figure in the long run I’ll get to my goal quicker by taking it easy instead of pushing it too hard in the beginning.

What are the signs of overtraining anyway? If you don’t mind me asking.

Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to help growth!

These tell you when you are overtraining too. Some of them are even noticeable before your dick drops off!

Thanks for the link, firegoat. Let me list my symptoms:

-Slight ache on the back left side of the penis.
-A little numb. (I think, I don’t know how to describe the feeling.)
-Loss of size (Because I haven’t been exercising lately.)
-Erections are the same, maybe a little harder.

Would taking a warm bath help with the healing process?

Hahaha that’s some good stuff!

It takes a lot of self control for me not to overtrain. First, jelqing makes me horny so I just kind of want to go on and on; and second, it’s easy for me to get over-ambitious and do too much.

Lately, I’ve decided to just let my EQ dictate the intensity or length of my routine. If my EQ is between 8 and 10, I would increase the number of jelqs by 10 or 20. If my EQ remains high I would maintain this number of jelqs for a few days. Then when I feel my EQ has stabilized I would increase the number of jelqs and/or intensity again.

If my EQ drops I take a couple days off and go back to the previous routine, wait for my EQ to stabilize and then the cycle starts again.

Now that I based PE on EQ, my dick feels energized and not spent. The “fat feeling” lasts almost the entire day and I would experience both night and morning wood.
