over 40

Is there any advice on what anyone over 40 might want to include for pe? The younger set has the advantage of higher levels of human growth hormones, testosterone etc. I recall some ‘PE master’ saying there was something additional someone over 40 has to do. I didn’t catch that ‘something’ because he only revealed it in personal training classes which are very expensive, and I believe overseas.

I don’t think HGH has anything to do with it. For me, it’s a little harder to consistently maintain 60-80% during jelqing. I have no ED problems and can get hard at the drop of a hat with a woman, but alas, masturbation has lost a little of it’s appeal over the years.

Isn’t hgh something which would help tissues grow? I thought that was something which helped natural growth to occur in all parts of the body. I could really be mistaken.

I’m 42 and still enjoying gains. There are others here who are 40-50 and achieving gains.

Have a look at this critical review of most studies and also look at the comments/questions. You might find it interesting:

"Other things happen as men age, and a simplistic, hopeful approach is to blame many of the consequences of aging on decreased testosterone levels and to use replacement therapy to bring the levels back to those of healthy youth."

"In sum, testosterone deficiency is a real problem that may affect a small but significant number of men. The symptoms most consistent with low testosterone are sexual problems, especially with age. Replacement therapy seems to help with these symptoms in some men. The ads for testosterone replacement therapy are, in my opinion, very problematic, nearing the point of deception. They seem to link all manner of vague and common symptoms to low tesosterone, and imply that the use of their product is likely to fix these problems."

I have seen a member, over age 50 when he first started, gained 2”+ length and 1” girth by doing jelqing, stretching and some pumping.

I think the penile structure has to do with cell deformation, so age wouldn’t be a big factor.

Notorious "Hardgainer". No Gain in 4 Years! Check out my "Blog" under Profile.

(starting: Jun 2007) 5.75" BPEL x 5" EG / (Sept 11, 2011) 6.375" BPEL x 5.125" EG / (July 1st, 2014) 6.25" BPEL x 5.125" EG (lost a bit of size)

I’m well over 50 and was over 50 when I started a few years ago. I have gained about 1.5” in length, or a little more, and about .5” in circumference.

As for testosterone deficiency, if you wish you can ask your doctor to do a blood test. If you test low, however, you will have to decide whether or not to take hormonal replacement therapy or not. Testosterone replacement therapy is not only costly, but has significant potential adverse side effects. If the only symptom of “low T” is mild erectile dysfunction, a lot of physicians might suggest just using a phosphodiesterase inhibitor like sildenafil citrate (Viagra) as a more practical alternative to replacement therapy.

I don’t think there is anything different to do if you are over 40. I would emphasize Kegels, if anything.

I will be 50 in a couple of days at the end of this month. I started PE at 48 and am happy with my success.

Modest gains in erect measurements, great improvement in flaccid and EQ. I think you can accomplish improvements at any age.

Current 01/14 BPEL 6.375 - Flaccid 3.50 (**now 4.5 as of 7/1/14)

The theory, as I’ve read it here, is that PE is not really “growing” tissue, rather deforming it.

Here’s to self-cock-mutilation!

I started at 49, increased my BPEL by 1.50” and EG by .75”. I’m not convinced that youth has all that many advantages in PE.

I am 56 and have made gains really quickly initially by just doing pulls. I went from 5 3/4” to 6 1/2” in just a few months but expect this to slow down now. My goal is 7” so praying for another 1/2”!

Well ya know, all the PE “experts” here at Thunder’s are posers. Each and every one. How can we possibly hope to compete with expensive, overseas, one-on-one training? ;)

Running a Massive Co-Front.

I have said in another post related to this topic, we need a over 40 club. Or something to that effect.

My PE career has been brief, but responsive. I have gained in flaccid girth and length almost instantly. I haven’t measured, but being almost 50, I have had a lot of years looking down to compare to what it is now. I am pleasantly pleased as well that my EQ is improved as well.

There is not a person alive that can not improve themselves, if only by just trying to do just that.

Good luck, aegi

I turned 50 two days ago.

I gained an inch in length and a half inch in girth since december `09.

Seriously, how about a Swedish bikini model with strong hands to do my jelqing for me? Problem: Maintaining below 70% erection.

It would be great for my motivation though. Rest days? Bah!
