Over done?

Over done?

There are a few spots where it looks like it bled underneath the skin. I was just trying to follow the newb routine, should I try to allow some pressure off of it sometimes? It never turned blue or anything and I never lost feeling so I’m not sure exactly how i could have over done it as I have read it described by other members here.

I would appreciate an experienced person’s advice here as to how I might best modify my routine to keep this from happening again.

If you get red, yellow, green, or magenta spots on the glans of your penis then chances are that it is temporary inflammation of the blood vessels. If it doesn’t hurt then you should be okay. If you were doing jelqs, which I assume is what you meant by newb routine then those should go away. The only thing I can think of is to take it easy at first.

Jelqing is a rude awakening to a couch potato penis. You don’t run a 10k marathon you first day out of the house. Remember you tell your wife that you are going for a run, catch the bus down to the bar and before you leave you splash some water from the bathroom on your face. Eventually you get really athletic and walk down to the bar. Heck you may even break a real sweat. Same thing with PE.

So as long as you don’t feel pain and listen to your body you will be fine. We all go at different speeds so don’t be reckless or try to compare yourself to anyone else. Some people hang 20 lbs off their dicks the first time they hang, some do jelqs for 40 minutes in their first week. Even after a year of jelqing I could never get past 30. Just do what feels right and don’t ever do anything that feels wrong.

first off it wasnt just on the head, some large blotches on the shaft too.

Second, I just want know about how I might adjust my routine. I will deffinitely not jelq for as long to begin with, but should I allow some pressure off sometimes, or is that counterproductive to my goals?

Let me ask you a couple things: How long are you warming up and how? How long have you been jelqing? What is your erection level while jelqing? Have you always had these spots? Do they hurt?

I’m warming up 2 different ways, either by hot wrap or by shower. I have been Jelqing for 2 weeks now. My erection level is just before I get a full on, I would say between 80 and 90%. I have had small spots before, I have never had these blotches before. Its been a few days now, they are finally going away.

Edit: By the way, one of the blotches had pain, in the past the spots have never caused pain.

If your getting pain I’d say take a break for a few days. If its still painful and hasn’t got any better see a doctor.

When I jelq I don’t go anywhere near full erection. I do my wet jelqs at 30-40% and my dry jelqs at 60-70%. 80-90% seems like too much to me and is pushing blood into places it shouldn’t go with too much force. Try a lower erection level when you get back into it.
