Okay I'm confused

When doing manual stretches, are you supposed to grab directly under the head?

Or are you supposed to grab right under the foreskin?

I feel I get a way better stretch under the foreskin because It pulls on the ligaments more?

But when I tried it right under the head, It kinda hurt but felt like it was actually stretching the shaft.

I looked at the video/pictures of the manual stretches and cant tell from them.

The stretch you described by gripping the foreskin may have just been you feeling the stretch of the skin itself. Even though I’m circumcised, I used to grab the skin on my shaft a little too low, and when I pulled, I would feel a stretch…but when I felt the base with my free hand, I realized the stretch I was feeling was only the skin stretching at the base from pulling the skin up. The ligs didn’t seem to be getting an effective stretch that way.

What I do now is, before I apply my grip, with my free hand I pull any excess skin down away from my glans, and simultaneously grip with the other hand just behind the glans, making sure there is nothing between the grip and glans.

For a more comfortable grip that doesn’t require me to squeeze like crazy to avoid slippage, or cause pain, I simply wrap a couple folded sheets of toilet paper around the glans. Problem solved. Makes a big difference!

Pull all the skin down like ironhammer mentioned. I think if you can still move your shaft skin up and down your all good.

I put my foreskin right behind the coronal ridge and grip underneath it. It make a good cushion and improves my grip.

I kegel so that I can have a good strong grip, then pull whichever way. I keep the foreskin extended while I pull because it is too hassling to pull it back IMO. Besides I learnt stretching that way.

I find that the more skin I end up stretching, the more it takes away from stretching the actual core/ligs, and it’s also harder to maintain a grip. But that’s me.

If what I mentioned in my post above doesn’t work for you, I suggest you try different variations and go by feel. You’ll find a way that works for you. Good luck.

You want to stretch the ligs / tunica (tunica more or less being the “inside of the shaft” you described, but more accurately the tough outer covering for the CC / CS):

tunica albuginea - a tough sheath of connective tissue in two layers, one surrounds each corpus cavernosum and forms the septum between the two, the other layer surrounds the the CC and the CS. The spongy erectile tissue in the CC would not cause an erection without the tunica because the skin covering the shaft is able to expand. Because of its tough fibrous nature, the tunica resists further expansion after the CC are filled with blood and, under the pressure of the contained blood, forms the rigid structure that is an erection.

The skin will stretch along with either a lig or tunica stretch, but you need to grip firmly enough so that you’re getting the ligs / tunica, and not just skin. If you’re not getting a firm enough grip, wrap with a cloth behind the head. I use an old tshirt for my manual stretches. Hope this helps.
