Jelqing is good for penis health in general—even if you’re not gaining much with it… I’ve read many times that people think it removes plaque from blood vessels and cleans up junk in there… and at least for me, after hanging, I always do it to restore blood flow…

I agree, my EQ has improved since jelqing.

Exactly—you want more good pressure on those internal structures for a larger period of time. This will lead to better internal tissue deformation.

Doing really fast jelqs/ jerking things around might just cause you to retract instead of grow. More pressure over more time, is more ideal; to me that makes logical sense.

Think of those asian guys that lift 450lbs with their penis; the quick shock doesn’t create any tissue deformation at all really (it might even cause the internal structures & ligs to crimp & heal shorter).

You need a good amount of pressure over a more extended period of time… there’s whole threads about lbs per hour (that explain why something like an ADS with only 2.5lbs of traction can have a big impact on growth). I think the related thread is loading, lengthening, healing (the one that talks about force/time)

You can’t think of jelqing as just ‘force’. You need to think about force over time—there’s 2 very important variables there: 1-force, 2-time. For example, in theory, 2lbs over 10 hours is probably more ‘deformation’ force than 50lbs for 5 minutes… The slow pull creates more ‘creep’ or slow deformation without causing a macro tear; on the other hand, a short shock treatment with extreme force is also a higher injury risk…

Anyway, that’s my conceptual understanding of why a 5 second jelq would be far more effective than a 2 second jelq (same pressure, but over more time = more deformation).

Ahh.. I see. Is it good to kegel while jelging? Because I can feel it getting sore after a a while, and of course the EQ decreases as I jelq.

I think most guys kegel while they jelq to keep the erection up, that’s very normal.

Some guys stretch a little while they jelq too.

Make sure to use even pressure all the way up to avoid the dreaded baseball bat effect, don’t jelq the glans. It’s also my opinion you should start your jelq as close to the base/ as deep as you can, so you jelq more of your penis, encouraging more growth.

Well a few words about feeling sore and losing erection while jelqing : A proper OK grip for jelqing is when your two fingers (exemple : thumb and index) touch the sides of the penis (left and right). Avoid the up and down sides of the penis. Why? Because it help you not to damage the sensitive nerve of the penis that can cause the loss of sensibility and bad quality of the erection.

ok I see. I have been just squeezing it and moving it forward. I shall try it with just touching the 2 sides.

It really depends on your stretching routine and how you do it. Be reminded that taking a break is also a part of the PE routine. A day or two off instead of overdoing it is recommended.
