If you lost your gains in 3 days they weren’t really gains, just the temporarily swollen or more fuller dick.
If you take a few days off and measure and actually have gains, then you know you’ve gained for real.
That’s why I never get excited unless I get the same measurements after a few days of no PE.
I even get a higher measurement in girth in my morning wood compared to my regular hard ons, doesn’t mean shit if it’s not happening all the time in my eyes.
But permanent gains will come so keep at it.
