Now, how is discoloration possible here ?

Now, how is discoloration possible here ?

I have been 10 days off (after 15 days of newbie routine) because if an injury I had (Big Dark Purple Knot, after jelqing.) and today I did the newbie routine again. I warmed up in the shower for about 7-8 minutes, I stretched 10-12 times for 30 seconds manually (using baby powder to get good grip) to various directions (mostly low) and then I moved on to jelqing.

So, I used the O-grip and the force I used to put before the injury (maybe a bit less) at about 50% erection level and after the 20th stroke I saw red spots. I thought to myself, it is OK some red spots are a minor thing, I will warm up after jelqing, I will rest and tomorrow my skin will be healed and more able to handle this pressure (dry jelqing it is). So I give 2 more strokes and my shaft turned full with dots so many that (about an inch above the base, because I cannot get a grip too low) it’s color changed. I thought to myself "OK" , I think I must stop for today warm up good and give it some massage to move blood around.

Here i am 30 minutes later with a shaft darker , than the base (plus one inch from the base as i said).

1)How is this possible ? I mean get so much discoloration from jelqing ? Before the injury I could get only a few (countable) red spots with even more pressure…
2)What do you think might have caused this ? Could it be that I didn’t wash off the baby powder ?
3)Is that an indication that perhaps my skin is too sensitive for dry jelqing and I should get some lube and start wet jelqing ?
4)Any other suggestions about this discoloration ? Do you think it can be persistent ?

I don’t have problem with having darker dick than the rest of my body, but at least I want it to be all the same color, not like this (an inch white and the rest dark). Jelqing is not easy to do in the area that is 1 inch from the base.

I guess that’s it. I hope this makes sense and you can give me some guidance.

Thanks.

I have never really tried dry, but I would think it would be tough on the skin, use Italian extra virgin olive oil

Your routine its pretty well. I believe that you can have a sensitive skin.

Dont make any dry jelq for the moment .Begin with wet jelq using a good oil lotion. The Italian extra olive oil its spectacular too(Good advice rm18)

The wet jelq its easyer to do it in this “white area”.

Many members making PE have a discolorations in the penis.

I am very proud about my Panda Unit.

Dont worry .It is preferable a discoloured and big penis that one uniform and small…Penis make up could be a good alternative..(joke)

you mean extra virgin olive oil (Greek ones are good quality too :P) to restore the color or to lubricate ? If it is for lubrication I was thinking of KY gel…
If you suggested it for restoration, how you suggest I should apply it ?

>>Your routine its pretty well. I believe that you can have a sensitive skin.

I did the same before the injury and had no such discoloration, just some red spots that went away when I rested. Isn’t this a weird way for the skin to react ? I mean after 15 days of jelqing and 10 days of being away go dark after the first strokes ? Isn’t this weird way of showing that it is just sensitive skin ? Shouldn’t it get dark by the first sessions before the injury ? (This is where the title of the topic comes from)

>>The wet jelq its easier to do it in this “white area”.

I thought so too, because when I was warming up in the shower I washed the unit, jelqed 2-3 times with soap on to get some new blood in and I discovered that the lower area is easier to jelq with lubrication. KY gel I think I can find easily, do you think I should ? Will wet jelqing help to get more skin and stronger so I can get back to dry jelqing ?

When I saw my discolored unit I thought that if it is to get bigger (enough, not just some centimetres) it is worth it and I don’t care . I am not small now 6.30 EL and 5.30 EG but the look of a girl when u first penetrate is priceless and for this the bigger the better :-) . I don’t care if my unit looks dark as hell. But I just want to know what is going on down there, so I can adjust my PE routine and be careful. Having a dark unit is one thing , having a hurt unit is another…

So, a question you didn’t answer: do you think discoloration from just jelqing can be permanent ?

And another question that just occurred to me: is it usual thing for discoloration to appear so instantly ? In a minute (or so..)? I thought it was something that started to show up gradually…

Thanks for your replies.

Ok WorkingOut.

Let me answer.

First. The discolorations its permanent, and it can appear instantly or not.Depends the skin.

Why I preferere the wet Jelq? Just for this. The discolorations its more soft when you jelq with oil or similar.

I use Extra Italian olive oil or Oil for childrens like Jhonson.Ky gel its very good too.

You are welcome.

My first thought is perhaps you aren’t dry jelqing correctly. Your hand shouldn’t move in relation to the skin. Are you trying to slide your hand over the skin without lube?

Somehow you are overstressing the skin. You might try wet jelqing and lighten your grip.

I doubt the redness from a single session is permanent, but if you keep brutalizing the skin don’t be surprised if you do end up with long-lasting discoloration.

>1) Do you thing there is any possibility that this is not typical discoloration that remains ? (I must say that it is similar with all the pictures I have seen , but it is not purple or dark purple, just dark red in the color)

Red seems indicative of recent trauma. I think it will go away if you take a few days off and then change your technique. Usually the shaft skin is somewhat pinker/redder after a session. I don’t know how dark red you mean, but if accompanied by spots you are being too rough on the skin.

>2) Do you thing that I can prevent it from turning into something by warming up all the time(I now do it in the shower but I read that this is bad for the penis because it drives it dry, should I change ? ) and going off PE for a while now that this is still in it’s first hours (or perhaps doing only stretches?)?

I’d wait until the skin is back to normal color before jelqing again. Your shower warmup should be fine. Make sure the water isn’t overly hot. Maybe that’s the problem? You want the penis warm, not cooked.

>3) If not except peeling, since you pretty much watched every suggestion made here, do you have any alternative that you will suggest to follow?

Peeling is the only thing that got rid of my discoloration. Prevention is the best policy. Avoid techniques that overly stress the skin.

A few occasional small red spots aren’t a big deal, but if numerous or bigger you should ease up. An overall extremely dark red color doesn’t sound good. Maybe you are having an allergic reaction to something used in your routine, such as the powder, or even soap residue that only bothers you when ground into the skin by jelqing.

Something else I should mention is for whatever reason shaft skin is more sensitive after taking some time off. Maybe you’re seeing that effect here. For example, if I were to do squeezes for a week, on the first day I might get some minor red spots, then no spots on the following days. Then after taking 2 days off I’d get horrible spotting at the next session even though it was lower intensity than before. I don’t understand the mechanism. It seems backwards. I’d think the skin would be tougher after a rest, but nope.

No, this is TOO painful and it is simple to say why. No. I have enough skin to pull it down near the base of the shaft and then jelq until skin gets stretched and grip reaches the head. Grip doesn’t slide over the skin, grip holds at the same point of skin until the end of the stroke. Does that sound wrong ?

Well, my shaft is red near the end of the jelqing session and I know it is normal, because after I stop repeating the strokes after a few seconds it gets to usual color. It seems that this happens (as I saw in the exercises videos, and that’s what I mean red, since my skin is totally white) because much blood is trapped over the grip and it shows. Isn’t that how jelqing, Uli, and other manual girth exercises work ? But I say this takes seconds before the slight darkness (which is similar at all places of the shaft) leaves.

What i have now is let’s say 2 (almost 3) times darker than the usual jelq stroke darkness. It didn’t leave after stopping jelqing and it appeared just after many, not countable dots appeared on my shaft in between let’s say 4-5 jelq strokes and I must say the darkness is not the same in all the areas that it appeared. Is this good enough to describe the darkness in the red colour ?

That’s the problem. Sure I can wait (even though it is annoying, because I just got out of another 10 day break for being stupid and injuring myself), what bothers me is that I don’t know if this leaves. And if it does, I now feel uncertain about the stress I can put on the shaft so it doesn’t appear again. I used to think when I read on other topics about discoloration that it is something that doesn’t just happen in one day, I supposed that it is something that happens gradually, not in an instant, through repeating a routine that pushes blood to places it cannot escape. This came all of a sudden and my feeling of safety about how easily I can react on my penis (“listening it” as older in PE years people say) reaction to PE… Anyway.

The thing is, even when I didn’t get discolored, I used to feel that the grip was somehow too strong for my skin and felt relieved when I released it after the stroke, but I kept on that for 15 days and nothing had happened. Plus, you cannot jelq without a tight grip, can you ?

Yes, that’s what I noticed and was curious about too. My thoughts when I saw the red spots I said above, were that it should be stronger now, not getting hurt by even lighter technique than before…

Now, since I am not working with jelqing. I know kegels are fine to do. What about manual stretches? My grip is not pulling the skin or putting some force on it in any way. Is it safe to continue with just warming up (more than before just to help the discoloration fade) stretch 10 minutes and then warm up some more before I stop ?

That’s it for now. Thanks for replying here (perhaps it was a mistake to put this topic to the newbie section) and so analytically. Sorry if any part doesn’t make sense and if so please ask me to clarify.

The post PE session red discoloration disappears within an hour to a couple days depending on the intensity of your workout. The iron residu from the red dots stays and builds up in your skin giving your dick a rusty look which can take months to fade.

I don’t think you should be getting red spots from normal jelqing even if your skin is sensitive. There must be too much pressure in the skin while you’re jelqing. Changing your grip location and/or tightness of the grip might improve it. It could also be that jelqing after stretching is too stressful for your skin.

Like Hobby said after a break your skin will be even more sensitive so it’s really your technique and/or routine you need to change. Your skin can become more conditioned after wearing a not too tight cockring for a couple hours.

I can’t figure out why you are getting such a vivid display of red dots. Unless your grip is too tight or dry jelking just isn’t right for you.

Your first injury, the large purple patch, was probably a burst capillary, like Westla said. It’s difficult to make that happen unless the force being used is too strong. Good jelking is actually more like slow-motion masturbation with a fairly healthy squeeze, not a strangle grip.

The perfect state of erection for jelking is when your cock is engorged but not yet firm. It should still be easily bendable, pliable.

If I were you, I’d try really sloppy/slippery lubed jelking instead of dry. It makes some sense to me that the baby powder you used for the stretching (try a rubber glove instead, to get a good grip on your glans) probably increased the abraision you experienced when you then went right into dry jelks, the powder still on your shaft. This probably wouldn’t bother most of us but I’m thinking you have ultra-sensitive skin or you are gripping that sucker way too tight when you jelk.

No , as I think I said before, red dots where normal on the way they looked, but after they faded away (some hours) a big area of the penis, around the 5/6 of it was discolored.

Yes, I think I got it now, how to do it I mean, I use lubrication and all is fine. Exactly as you mention.

Also, I did was the powder away before jelqing…

Anyway, to give you a status report. The big part of the discoloration has faded and after 3 days of waiting and warming up, I resumed PE, doing wet jelqing for 3 days and no discoloration has been added. I didn’t even get 1 red spot since I started using lubrication…

But , nevermind that, I still want to discuss the rest of the questions, Hobby when you see this, please focus on my previous post.

Many PEers get some shaft skin darkening over time, even without spotting or severe redness after sessions. Some is from better blood flow to the skin, and the rest is some degree of discoloration (hyperpigmentation or hemosiderin staining).

The best you can do is avoid spots and the dark redness you experienced, because if you keep getting it you will very likely develop long-lasting discoloration. I’m glad wet jelqing is working better.

In the short term, as your skin continues to fade from that episode, you could make stretching the center of your PE routine. Jelq a little, but not for long periods and go easy on the grip.

With olive oil has anyone seen ANY stretch marks? Reduction in stretch marks? Or any stretch marks forming? I am currently using a lube with 50/50 of a regular lotion with aloe and Palmer’s anti stretch mark lube.

KY is the worse lubricant ever created. It dries right away.do not waste your time and money on this.buy baby oil with aloe vera from Johnson.it is for baby, I am sure your mother used this on you and you had no allergy when you were a baby.so there is nothing safer.no worries the oil will not go inside your urethra and cause you an urethrites.another choice the old Vaseline we all know since ever.this one is not so slippery I prefer baby oil.
