I am currently following the “Newbie Routine” which is recommended to all beginners and those who are generally just starting out in the community. I thought, that similarly to working out, after a cycle you should feel a little sore or a little worked out. After I complete my routine meeting proper time requirements and demonstrating correct form, I don’t feel like its been worked out. And even the day after in the morning, it doesn’t feel like anything has really been done to it. Just wondering, should I boost my routine slowly until I start waking up with a sore dick or am I okay?


Start: 7.5 BPEL, 5.0 EG

Current: 7.5 BPEL, 5.2EG

Goal: 9 BPEL, 6.0 EG

You are in the “conditioning” process. In my opinion, it is not good to work your penis till soreness. Usually at the regular Newbie Routine, beginners tend to feel soreness, because 10 minutes of jelqing is too much for someone who just start PEing.

How’s your EQ and night/morning wood?

If you noticed increases in these PI, it is working.

My Night and Morning wood have always been ridiculously hard. I actually just wrote a post about how crazy it is. They seem to be about the same, but my member does feel a bit fuller and look healthier. I am in this for the long run so I will make sure I do it the right way and do the “Newbie Routine” for some time. I just want to make sure that I am doing the right amount of the “Newbie Routine”. Wish me luck I suppose! 9 Inches here I come!

One of the great ‘secrets’ of PE is to do the minimum you can and still grow. If you do too much too soon your penis will just get used to the amount you are doing and require ‘more’. So deciding if you are doing enough is not a case of how well worked over your penis feels, but whether it is growing. If after a month you see no gains at all, try increasing your PE a bit. If you are seeing gains, keep doing the same until they stop.

Damn firegoat, you’re all over the place with great info. Really appreciate the impact you have on this forum! Will keep this in mind for the future.
