Hey guys I have been doing PE for around three months and I don’t seem to be gaining. Basically my routine 5-10 minute warmup. 2.5-5 minute stretches(left, right, up, down). Then 10-30 minute clamping session. I started clamping about a month ago and I’m still 6 inches long and 5.5 girth. What am I doing wrong?

You’re clamping too early, you’ve done PE only 3 months. Just stick with the newbie routine and it it doesn’t work, increase the time. Just make sure that your PI’s are fine.

Ok ill go back to jelqing but can I dry jelq instead of wet jelq? Is there that much of a difference?

I would think its a comfort issue,, it would be for me !! , I use lotion and its perfect , no feeling like my skin is going to tear

I am sorry to hear that you are not gaining. However I too think that it is best to stick to the manual exercises first before graduating to the next level.

Good on you for employing the warm up, stretches, but throwing in some wet jelqs in there. In the earlier days I would jelq for 30 min and I definitely noted its benefits. Some of my impressive gains were based on the newbie routine. Even today there are seasons when I pack all my fancy PE gear and go back to my adjusted newbie routine.

It can easily take more than 3 months to learn how to jelq. Throwing clamps or ADS at the problem can make it harder to gain, imo. Learning how to jelq effectively is probably the most effective use of time.

Yea, drop the clamping. Try doing 4x10s, 10 minute warm up, 10 minute stretching, 10 minutes jelqing, 10 minute warm down for a month and report back your PIs each week.

Yeah, maybe even take a few weeks off for deconditioning before starting the newbie routine to maximize your ‘easy gain’ potential.

Whats deconditioning. Is that the best way to go before starting PE.

Deconditioning is a break after your PE stops getting you results.

Many members rest for a month or so and then return to PE and begin growing again.

The rest period varies from member to member and the big question is how do you know how much rest you need.

Ah the challenges of PE!


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.
