Hey there fellas, glad to be here. As you can see I’m new PE and this is my first post. I’m currently beginning the Newbie routine but I have a question on manual stretching the downward stretch in particular, I’m not sure why but when I try to manually stretch for 30 seconds my hand always slips before I can reach the required time. Even with dry hands I get the same result.

I know this is supposed to be fairly easy so it’s quite weird I’m having trouble. Any advice? Thanks guys.

Use a bit of toilet paper or talcon powder so your grip is better and you don’t HAVE to stretch for exactly 30 seconds. Do whatever you’re comfortable with.

Toilet paper, baby powder, different grip (search ‘knuckle stretch’).

Don’t sweat it dude. You’ll get to grips with it soon enough. It took me about 2 months before I got jelqing half way right. Just keep on trying and eventually it’ll happen. Also why not 2 lots of 15 seconds instead of 1 lot of 30 seconds?

Can you explain how it took you 2 months to get your jelqs right? What was your first technique? Why was it wrong? What lead you to a new technique? And what was your new technique? I am curious because I wonder if I am off to a good start with my jelqs..

I normally use baby powder. However, I’ve had cuts over the years on either hand and one in particular that was bad so I couldn’t use powder. I used wants called here in the states a Latex Exam Glove and they are sold at the local drug store by the box. Had them readily available since I use them for marinating meat/chicken or cutting them up. The grip was amazing.

A square of theraband works wonders too.
