Gentlemen,

I’ve read that the idea with warming up is to help increase blood flow to the penis. I was wondering if actually working out b4 for PE sessions would enhance anything.
- Thinking that a 20-30 minute jog b4 the routine would help by getting my blood pumping. (Of course I would warm my junk up as routine)

Also after my routine in stead of using a towel or rice bag to warm down can I take a hot-warm bath?

And how long should one wait to have sex after a session?

Warming up with heat makes the collagen of the tissues of the penis more extensible. Working out will not achieve the same response.

Warming down is not nearly as important as warming up. But a hot bath would still be good!

How long to wait before sex? Instantly if you want, although there is a massive thread on ‘does masturbation hinder gains’ here. Some believe ejaculation after PE is not a good idea, and although I’ve had my best gains when I’ve been abstinent, there is no physiological reason why that should be so, as far as I can work out. So I would not worry about it at all.

At first it seems like a whole body warmup (e.g. Jogging) would enhance blood flow. But actually, when you do aerobic exercise your nervous system constricts the arteries and arterioles that lead to organ systems that are unnecessary for the activity. So your penis might actually get reduced blood flow if the activity takes place for too long.

Maybe a short whole body warm up would help get the blood pumping initially, but I would keep it like 5 minutes, and save your aerobic exercise to do separately from PE.

Your jogging program will probably enhance general blood flow and improve your circulatory system, so it could in the long run help your gains, but in my opinion, it won’t do anything for an acute PE session.

Firegoat - I would still do the typical hot towel warm up just thinking about general over all blood flow. Great advice.

Jay - I’ll try short warms ups and keep them down to 5 min or less. And do my over all physical workouts separate and a few hours b4 or after my PE sessions.

ONE MORE question.
Warming lubes. Good idea? Bad Idea? Do you think the will enhance anything or slow results.

P.S. The warming lube is a question about jelqing.

Bad idea. More likely to cause irritation, and the amount of bloodflow you will get from jelqing is many times what any lube could assist with.

Vitamins amp; Supplements

I know there is probably a thread some where, but are there any over the counter vitamins or supplements that will help or enhance my PE?

The general concensus is that there are no supplements that will speed up growth, although a lack of good nutrition may slow your natural healing processes, so poor nutrition could slow growth a tiny bit. Some guys are big into supplements though, so if you use the link in my sig to learn to search well (it is a skill here, because there is so much info on just about everything!), you can see what others have tried and liked.

Ok so I started PE last week. Started light. I’m doing the newbie routine. My first session was full warm up and half the time for stretch and jelq then full warm down and kegel. For like the first 2 days

Ease off on the pressure a bit. You don’t want your glans looking like a pin cushion - it’s a sign of using too much pressure.

Also I was thinking the other day because I read that its hard to gain length after you gain girth. So I want to focus on gaining length. What should I do to help me make good gains in length.

I don’t think hanging or pumping is for me at this point. So what should I focus on during my regular routine?

Some people find it easier to gain girth, some length. The vast majority find it easier to gain length. So just do the newbie routine until you find out what your gaining pattern is before you change anything.

I have never found it harder to gain length after girth - that is one of those ‘logical - it must be harder to stretch something thicker’ assumptions that probably holds true for some, but probably not for most. Just because something is logical in theory does not make it true in practice.

(In fact most guys think of clamping as the quintessential advanced girth exercise….. I gained proportionally more length than girth from clamping…. go figure.)
