How long does the organism need to sleep if you are having sex almost everyday for couple of hours?

I’m serious with my question - i usually sleep 3-4 hours and after few weeks I’m starting to have some small problems with gaining erection that would stay hard for as long as i need. It feels like my penis is getting tired “during the night” so maybe - as far as I’m doing the daily routine too - it’s just over-trained? What’s Your suggestion?

I think sleep has a big effect. I’ve noticed I’ve been having some real trouble getting erections with my girlfriend. I could not figure out what the hell was wrong with me. Then I realized that we are really only intimate well past midnight usually. Earlier in the day/evening it’s much easier.

If I read your post correctly, your sleep time has not changed and you were having a couple hours sex a day with no problems. I assume you have been doing the newbie routine during the past few weeks and your organism/penis is feeling tired.

The same type of thing happened to me. You can continue most of the newbie routine but stop doing the jelqing for a week or two and see if it helps.

If your organism/penis gets back to normal introduce jelqing slowly back into your routine. Try two days a week then more days if you have no problems.

Hi Matt:

I think you know that 3-4 hours of sleep isn’t enough, especially for a young person. As a student of physical therapy (physiotherapy) you should know that sleep is very important to good health and well being. Your studies and the practical application of what you are learning, is probably exhausting you physically and mentally. This, coupled with a daily sexual workout for a couple of hours, AND a daily PE workout, PLUS very little sleep, would give anyone an erection problem. It’s a wonder that you can get it up at all! :(

Look, I went through this at university studying architecture and building construction. I had classes during the day, and worked until late at night on designs, plans and renderings. Plus, I was newly married, and as any newly wed, we were doing our thing a couple of times or more a night and before we got up in the morning. I was trying to get by on 3 to 4 hours of sleep at night. I very quickly found out that it was impossible to do all of that and stay healthy and alert in class, and it was not fair to my wife. :/D

My friend, you need to pace yourself better so you can get a good nights sleep of at least 7 hours. Otherwise, you are going to burn yourself out and you will need more than a physiotherapist for yourself!

I hope soon to hear that you are getting not only a good nights sleep, but you are able to keep your manhood standing at attention, and that you can do those “couple of hours” with no trouble at all! :clap:

The first hour usually makes no problem, usually I slow down at the end of second hour and if I want to end up with three hours I need to pay a little of effort ;)

“Before” those three weren’t a problem at all especially if I wasn’t ejaculating. I hope I will “recover” soon :D

Gee Matt, you started off with a “couple of hours” of sex, and now you are trying for THREE hours? With no more than 3-4 hours of sleep?
Does that mean that you will spend equal time having sex as you will sleeping? :D Just don’t go to sleep while you are in there? :chuckle:

Hi Matt356,

Been there done that. I can get away with having lots of sex day in and day out and very little sleep. Yes, more sex/day than sleep/day. Eventually my body does start to wear down. This is just natures little way of reminding you that you can’t fly or lift cars over your head.
