No longer waking up with morning wood

I haven’t really been waking up with morning wood since really sticking to my routine. I’m doing the newbie routine except I do 15 second stretches instead of 30. When I wake up it looks like I’m a little less than semi-erect. I really don’t get random erections throughout the day either. When I’m about to have sex though I have no problem getting it up, and with porn and manual stimulation I don’t really have a problem getting an erection.

I’m not sure if this should be chalked up to too intense of a routine or just getting older (24 y.o.). I haven’t noticed any other negative PI’s either.

For the most part, yes

If your EQ is good in all other areas it’s probably not a big deal IMHO.

I rarely ever wake up with morning wood. Even before starting pe I only got it on occasion.

It might be hormonal. Men go through cyclical hormonal cycles, similar to women. As long as there are no negative signs, I wouldn’t worry about this too much.

Hey, Airmailpuppet, it’s been a while I didn’t have morning woods until I start with Kegels and PE. I’m 32 and I have MW from time to time, but it’s not rare and not common. I have to say that I’ve been having wet dreams as well.

Thanks for the responses. I took off for a week, I woke up with morning wood the past couple of days. My flaccid also feels better right now. Just less fatigued, hanging a bit better than it was a week ago, etc. I’m honestly not sure if I should get back to my manual routine. I might try starting back up tomorrow with a lighter routine. I’m not really sure what to do.

Yeah dude for some people MW is a BIG indication of over training but for others, like me, its only a small part of the equation because its so inconsistent no matter what I do.

Actually I remember having the same problem when I first started PE-ing. Before that I ALWAYS had morning wood. This got me worried sick so I started a thread in fear that it I did something horribly wrong to my dick.

Just like veteran PE-ers told me then, EQ and PI evaluation when incorporating PE into your life is pretty much a give and take sort of thing. You will lose certain elements that would be considered signs of proper exercising but you will also start noticing good EQ criteria too. So in my opinion, no, it does not directly reflect whether your routine is good or bad. You just have to pay attention to the other PI’s more and see whether anything good is happening with your dick. Its not only about morning or night wood. Its also about horniness, “veininess”, hardness of erections and what not.

I had no MN for months when I started PE. Now I do 2 on 1 off 2 on 2 off, very light jelq, some Fowfews for better warm up and warm down, very easy 30 second stretch no more then 12 repets, after one year that is, and after 2 weeks of doing what I said, I have MN, ofcourse I dont masturbate much.

First off all,excuse me for my English.For a couple of years I haven’t a morning erection(36 year old).But are you sure you haven’t a night wood.A men’s had 3 or 4 erections when they sleep.If you have them it’s not a big deal that you haven’t morning wood.

Well, I don’t have morning erections also, or very rarely (I had one this morning after a long period). I didn’t have them, or I didn’t notice them before I started to PE, for many years and I’m 30 years old. But I have noticed that I have erections during sleeping, woke up one night and there it was. There are several erections during night, and it does not necessarily mean it has to occur in the moment you are waking up.

What is more important is to have good and steady erections during sexual act, or during masturbation.

My EQ, for example has improved to the maximum since I have started with PE.
