No gains

No gains

1 month after the nooby routine and i’ve got no gains. What gives? I’m patient for the year but not even fraction of a centimeter gained in a month, like what difference does it make if I continue? How should I change?

Are you using heat for a warmup?
Have you done full consistency, i.e. not missing workouts?
What kind of time/volume are you using? You could try doing more/less time, experiment.
Are you completely flaccid when you stretch? When you stretch are you getting a marginal increase in BPFSL?
When you jelq are feeling a ‘blood wave’ or internal pressure buildup that is causing expansion in your shaft and glans? What kind of pressure levels are you using? What erection level? Are you taking the full 3+ seconds per jelq? Experiment with all these things to find a good form.

1 month is too soon to rule out whether you’ll get gains from the newbie routine. Make sure you’ve got good form on everything, and if you still have zero gains after another 1 or 2 months more, then look into other options. ADS, extender, hanging, pumping, clamping, etc. It doesn’t mean you can’t gain, it just means you’re going to have to experiment and find something that works. Everybody’s unit is unique and responds to different routines.

Yes I use a hot towel for 10 minutes, I routinely place it under hot water to get it hotter again. For that 1 month, I didn’t miss a single work out. I stretch in NSEW for 30 seconds and repeat that again. Then I jelq for 200 for about intervals of 50. my Stretch could be more flacid I think. My erection level for jelq is about 3.8-4.5 inches out of my 5.5 inch max erect, when I go to high I stop that set and continue after rest. I don’t know about the blood wave. should it feel like a weak version of getting your blood pressure checked? My head gets slightly darker. Today I’m going to really drill whats going on with my jelq.

Your grip should be trapping all the blood in front of it. Then as you move it up the shaft, the trapped blood has less room, and the pressure builds up. As you keep moving the grip up the shaft, it hits a point where the internal pressure gets maxed out, and it should feel like you have a full on erection in front of the grip with full expansion in the shaft and the glans. While behind the grip you will be flaccid. You can test it by taking the hand that you’re not gripping with, and feeling the upper shaft/head area to see if it is hard and fully expanded.

If you’re getting that expansion, you’re essentially doing the jelq correctly. That internal pressure is what you’re after, and then it’s just a matter of fine tuning your form over the weeks and months, but it should be working. If you’re not getting that kind of internal pressure expansion, then your jelq form is fundamentally flawed, and it could very well be the reason you’re not gaining.

1 month is too short amount of time for many people. I’d bet for most.
