Nice clamps - home depot 1$

Just found these babies at the hd, they look perfect to clamp with. May try tonight

forgot to mention these are wider than any other store cable clamps I have seen. Thats why I think they will be great for clamping and comfy.

Yup. Those are the ones. Cheap and durable. Buy several to always have some on hand.

Yeah, you must several. Have you ever had a clamp break on you while clamping. It doesn’t hurt but it is weird feeling. Clamps do break, they become weak over time.

Yeah Im honestly just getting started clamping. I did get medium! lol

My plan is to take a custom made silicone sleeve that I shortened to use as my padding. I will slide that on the place clamp over that. I tested the setup for 5 minutes and felt great. Thought about going hang 15min/ clamp 5 on and off for a few weeks.

I came across those a few weeks ago by accident, work great, bought a few for when one breaks, had one break not long ago.

Guys, really, Go to my thread and go directly to the post mentioned above. I explain how I prepare my clamps with a strip of mouse pad. I also posted pictures of them and they also show
the glue that I used. It is a hell of a lot better then wrapping and it gives you much more expansion. I truly am an expert when it come to clamping. I have been there done that. I also posted
on sta-cool’s thread that tere is an art to putting the clamp on.

That’s so cheap! I want some now haha. I’m still not clamping though, I will come back to read this thread when I do start clamping later on to find the posts TNTjockey mentioned.

Will do tnt, my trimmed sleeve is awesome too. No wrapping etc just the padded sleeve. I made it around 1/4 inch thick.

Yup, been using those for years. I just have a strip of cotton from an old t-shirt that I’ve folded over and wrap around my unit before putting on the clamp. And yes, I’ve had a couple break. The sound alone really freaked me out!!

Like someone else here mentioned sometime ago, I do not use any wrap or padding. I use just the plain, bare clamp.
