Newbie workout sessions
Hello all. Brand new to all of this. I’ve been lurking and reading for a week or so now and I think I’ve garnered up all the information I need to get started. I’m going to start with the standard newbie routine: 5 min warm-up, 10 min manual stretches, 10 min dry jelq, 5 min warm-down, 2 on / 1 off schedule. I’ve been practicing the techniques and I’m getting a feel for the pressures and stretches. I haven’t had much pain, normal soreness and some red dots on the glans which I’ve taken as pretty standard.
My question is, with the 2 on / 1 off schedule, is this just a single workout per day? I realize that toughening up comes first and after reading the horror stories on some injuries, I’m fine with that. I’m doing this covert, without the wife knowing and sometimes it can get difficult to find the time or privacy. Should I just stick with one per day for a week or two and then ramp up to multiple workouts?or is it always just one per day? Maybe I should change to a 5 on / 2 off schedule in a couple of weeks and stick to one workout per day.
By the way, great site. It definitely has an air of professionalism and support. For such a delicate subject, even newbies like me can feel at ease.
