Hi.

I’m very excited to start with the newbie routine (hope I’ll be able to keep it up), I’ve been trying to register on the forum for two months now. My current stats and these aren’t accurate are about 7” BPEL and 5.5” EG. I’ll measure myself accurately as soon as possible so I can keep track of my gains. My main objectives are to increase flaccid size (my penis is a grower and is very small when flaccid), girth and erection quality. I hope the newbie routine is suitable for these objectives.

Wellcome to the forum! Naturally we all hope you can keep at it, and experience good gains.

But don’t overdo it at first. Some guys do tend to be a bit too enthusiastic on gripping thie dick too hard and bending too violently. It’s OK to do that after you have conditioned your dick to take the exercises. So play it carefully at first.

It’s impossible to say at first how your dick will grow. But if you keep records as you intend then it will show in your workouts, and you will be ablae to determine what adjustments you need to make to obtain the gains you want..

Also don’t hesitate to ask questions. But always try to give as much detail of what you do, as that makes it easier to help you.

The Newbie routine is a ‘general’ exerciser And that is the way to go first of all.

Just finished my first PE session. Had some problems with jelqing because I don’t yet have a proper technique and had some difficulty staying erect over the session. But besides that everything was flawless. Hope I can keep up with this routine. :)

But I don’t think you have to stay erect during PE at all, particularly during jelqing.

It is usually not advised that you stay fully erect during jelqing, I would suggest “pumped but not hard” level (I have never felt that I can really understand erection levels as percentages). Note also that many people think that best length gains can be got with relatively low erection levels, while girth gains are more often attributed to higher levels. My experience in PE is only limited to one month, but I wouldn’t be too concerned about keeping the “just correct erection level” initially, you will get a feeling for it after a while. I feel that this is partially due to you learning the technique and partially due to your penis getting accustomed to jelqing.

If you can’t keep your erection level right (and it should not be totally erect), then try this:

Break your jelqs into sets. I do thirty. Then I spend a little time bringing erection level back to 60 -80%. Then I do another thirty. Bring erection level back up. And so on until I am done with my jelqs.

Personally the standard Thunder’s newbie routine was WAY too much for me. 250 jelqs is a lot of jelqs. Way to stressful for me.

A lot of guys do well with a much lighter approach than the newbie routine.

I did something similar to this with good results:

These numbers are not guess work, 7 people have reported gains of 1cm+ (5 people at thunders and two of my own test-subjects) in exactly 18 days till now.

Start growing!

If you read through these threads, you will see that people gain using these “less is more” routines, even though they are quite skeptical that it is “not enough PE”.

This might work for you.

Relating erection percentages to functional standards

Docrob: But one of my main objectives is gaining girth not length.

Sta-kool: Yes I did something like that to keep my erection levels and I’ll probably keep doing it for now. I guess I’m going to stick with the newbie routine for now unless I see negative PI. As I said one of my main objectives (if not the main objective) is to get harder erections so I think the newbie routine is better for this as it has more jelqs. I’m only 19 years old so probably my penis will be able to take it, but correct me if I’m wrong.
I’m healthy, workout on the gym, my weight is fine and I have a very healthy nutrition. I don’t really know if this will affect PE just thought I should mention it.

Invisible: That really helped I always had a hard time judging erections by %.

Y see a lot of people asking how can they keep their erection level high during jelqing .. But how can I keep it lower? It’s very hard for me to jelq at 70-80% because my penis tends to become 100% erect. This happens at stretching too.. So how can I make my erection level lower. (My English is not very good)

I noticed that while jelqing my glans starts getting darker but if I stop jelqing for a few seconds it goes back to red/pink. Is this normal? Because only the glans starts getting darker like if the blood was getting stuck there.

At the moment your penins is experiencing something new, and as it is somewhat like masturbating It behaves they way it’s got used to. That is, you are stimulating the nerves into action. As you get used to the routine things will tend to level off a bit.

Take the exerrcise more easily and slow down/stop if you get an erection, You will find things will quieten down after a short while.

So ease off a litlle during the jelqs.

Same applies to you km. Just ease off the pressure and don’t push against the glans so hard.
Jelqing should be ‘firm but gentle’

Thank you very much for your input. I have only done 4 workouts so far and I already notice some positive signs. My veins are starting to get more noticeable when I’m erect. I never get morning wood and today I woke up with an erection (although not very strong). I also think my penis feels fuller when flaccid. I only regret I haven’t started PEing sooner, but better late than never :P

I’ve got some small red spots on the glans after this workout. Should I take a day off?
