2 days on and 1 off does not really fit my schedule. Would 1 day on, 1 day off be as effective?

Its probably not the answer you want but it depends on what works for you specifically.

That might be too many rest days to ever see gains for some guys but may be just right for others. You may be an easy gainer who would not benefit from a 2 on 1 off schedule though its really not recommended to start if you can’t hold a consistent schedule.

I know for a fact that taking every other day off would give me zero gains after a while of doing so. It would often take me several days to really feel any significant change in indicators during the regular schedule but I went weeks without feeling like I had even been trying on a 1 on 1 off schedule.

You could give it a shot but I think most users would at the very least also recommend you sneak in some light stretching, kegels and such just to keep things moving a little on the off days.

No man, start much slower. One day your first week and see how you heal. If you find you’re just fine then start doing it twice a week. Work up to three times a week or two to four times a week with light fluffing exercises daily to work out bruises and blood clotts.

I agree no rush take it slow. Rest days for me I notice more flaccid growth.

Thanks for the advice guys. I will stick to my 1 day on, 1 day off routine for the next month or two and see what kind of results I get.
