Newbie Routine Question

Hi all,

I am doing the newbie routine at present, once in the morning and once in the evening 5 days week.

Should I only be doing the routine once a day?

The Newbie Routine

This exercise routine is designed for those new to penis enlargement. It should be challenging but not likely to cause injury. It is important to start out gradually to allow the penis to adapt. The first two months of penis enlargement are when most injuries take place and they are a matter of pushing too far, too fast.
The Newbie Routine

1. 5 minutes hot wrap
2. 5 minutes manual stretch (ten 30-second stretches)
3. 10 minutes of jelq (two hundred 3-second strokes)
4. 5 minutes hot wrap
5. 50 kegels of five second holds each

Schedule:2 days ON / 1 day REST.
Notes

Gradually increase to 10 min total of stretches and 30 min of jelqing over about 6 weeks time.

Rob, I am kind of confused, I see your join date is may 2005. Have you PE’d before or are you just starting over, or just starting period. Why don’t you start by easing your self into the Newbie and just do it once a day for now. How do you feel with twice a day? There is nothing wrong with that, but if you are new to PE, I might just stick to once a day.

I need more information, like what experience do you have concerning PE? If you want to volunteer your age, that would help, but not necessary.

Whilst I joined back in 2005, I have never committed properly until the beginning of this year. To all extents and purposes I am a beginner.

I am 31 and have porn-induced ED which I am also trying to recover from (I quit porn at the same time I decided to dedicate to PE).

I have noticed some gains in length from doing twice a day but none in girth and my EQ is poor. Jelqing is hard to do and I have no morning wood.

I was thinking of doing some light pumping to assist.

Are you Ron or Rod? What kind of shape are you in? What is your height and and weight. The reason I ask is maybe you should work on your ED first or at least include it in your exercises.

I am 6 foot and 85kg. Though I look fairly slim I am carrying a reasonable level of fat which I am currently getting rid of via exercise (mainly cardio). I think if I keep up the current levels of exercise I will be in very good shape in a couple of months time though I would say that I am fit now.

How does one work on ED within exercises if you pardon my ignorance?

I am also trying to do Kegels which I seem to be struggling to get the hang of.

Pardon my ignorance as well. I was just trying to see if you were over weight. I have read that a lot member that had experienced ED issues were over weight and not in shape. Cardio is good for you since it starts the blood to circulate through your body at somewhat of a rapid pace. Are you on a good diet.

Yes I am on a very good diet at present.

I have been doing PE since the start of this year.

Though I have dabbled in the past, it has been a day here or there for a couple of weeks then nothing for months. I am sure in those times I did overdo it and performed exercises more advanced than I should have. I am determined to do everything properly this time though it is very tempting to do more advanced exercises when your unit will not function (but I will resist temptation).

I have had the ED for at least 5 years but put it down to antidepressants (which I am now off). It was not until last year that the penny dropped and I realised it was more likely due to 15 years of frequent porn use.

Once a day with regular days off. When you get this resolved I suggest you do a lighter newbie routine. The regular one was too stressful for me and my dick, so I did something similar to:

With regards to the ED, as stated above I have had the ED for at least 5 years but put it down to antidepressants (which I no longer use). I realised last year it was more likely due to 15 years of frequent porn use. I also have a stressful job but there is not much I can do about that!.

Hey xyz123, one of the big gins on this forum is asking you questions, so please be as detailed as possible. Sta-kool is very thorough. I too am interested. !5 years of porn? When is the last time you had sex? or even masturbated and what was your erection like?

Rob, I am still confused, you are 31 years of age and you have been watching porn for 15 years which means you were 16 years of age when you started watching porn, how did you get away with that at such a young age? Please, don’t misunderstand, I am the one who is trying to understand.

Have you considered seeing a doctor? Because this sounds more deeper than what we are reading on the surface.

I agree with both tntjockey and sta-kool. In order to assist at all, you need to answer the questions both have asked. It’s very important to know if the ED was present before or after you started pe.

Porn tends to desensitize you from real life sexual encounters due to the situations and actions you see on the screen. For the most part it is not realistic and when you train your mind that that is what sex should be like, it’s not that thrilling when you have a normal sexual encounter. I’m not on a computer right now so linking a thread is too difficult. Search for porn detox threads. There is a wealth of information there.

To what extent is your ed and how long have you been peing? I agree with ssta-kool, it sounds like you may be over training. Both sta-kool and tntjockey posted some great information for you to read. Let’s start there and by answering the questions the guys trying to help you are asking.

Not had sex for over 10 years, had a bad experience (which I think was performance anxiety due to ED) and that has put me off ever since. Met a girl recently so this problem is a real concern but I think getting this sorted is more important in the long-term.

Masturbated last week accidentally whilst doing PE, had average erection. Have not masturbated for pleasure for over a month and I don’t intend to do so until this matter is sorted.

I am an only child who had working parents so looking at porn was not a problem as a youngster. Then it became a habit. Don’t get me wrong, I would not spend hours and hours watching a day but I could spend an hour a night and masturbate 2-3 times.

I think you are right about seeing a Doctor, I am going to book an appointment today.

ED was definitely present before PE, in fact it was one of the reasons I started. Been doing be PE properly for 2 months.

I don’t post much but follow the advice given by sta-kool and the other veterans here above.
As for my own addition, I’ve been doing this on/off for some time now and finally I’m serious
and dedicated, but for me the initial newbie routine is already too much is what I found out.

Take your time in finding the right routine for yourself and REALLY listen to your body, handle
those PI’s as you would handle the holy grail. Personally I’ve been working on my own routine
now for 4 months and finally I’m seeing some gains, although minimal. My point here is that it’s
important and difficult to find this ‘sweet-spot’ where gains occur, but very important nonetheless.
