Newbie Routine question

I have a question about time. The newbie routine says six weeks time for the routine, and I’ve read a lot of people on the forum say three months time. Which is it?

Do it until it stops working.

Ah, ok. But what about increasing jelq times? The routine says to increases for six weeks from ten minutes of jelq to thirty minutes. That’s 2/3 of a minute added each time I PE. If I continue to “do it until it stops working”, would it be a good idea to increase by 2/3 of a minute then too?

At a 3 second rep, 30 minutes is approximately 600 reps. I have seen good gains in the 4 months I have been into PE with a lot less jelqing. I followed the newbie routine very strictly at first. Even 300 jelqs just wipes out my unit. I saw a lot of negative PIs if I did more than this. Watch your PIs and take your time. Good luck.

The instructions are referring to the first 6 weeks of the 3 month newbie program.

I am at the end of the 1st month and still only do about a 100 jelgs at 15 mins. And 7.5 mins of stretching.

You would be fine just doing 5 mins of jelging, at a time, the whole first week. But it’s up to you.

I’m currently finishing up my 8th week.
I jelq for 11 minutes, and I’m still gaining.
I’m going to incorporate some V stretches once my gains stop, and keep jelqing at 11 minutes.
If that doesn’t work I’ll go up to 15 minutes jelqing. If that doesn’t work, I’ll take a month off. PE isn’t something I want to spend an hour plus on.
