Hi there! I’ve been on and off trying different routines for a couple of years until recently I started reading the posts here carefully and I realized I should have stuck to one method and worked on it more consistently. Since I haven’t really had any solid gains, I’m going to restart PE fresh here with the newbie routine.

Now that I’m a week in (2 * 2 day on 1 day off). I do have some (newbie’s) concerns, but I also did my homework here, so I’ll put down my own thoughts based on what I have found. Any correction/addition/advice are appreciated!

1. Stretching an uncut penis - how to get a good grip and how to stay flaccid?
Two problems: first my boy constantly slipped off, which was solved by using toilet paper as someone suggested. Also Marinera’s post on manual stretching really helped a lot! Then maybe it’s because I’m uncut and the part under the glans I grip is too sensitive, I simply couldn’t stay flaccid. Sometimes I started with a flaccid state but I soon got a boner when I started stretching. People here said waiting or squeezing could help. Well, squeezing didn’t really work for me, maybe just because I was too excited. Waiting though, I don’t know whether that works in a cold winter like this. I warmed up nicely with rice sock and I don’t really want to let it cool down. So I was basically always erect when I stretched and it felt really weird, the glans hurt, maybe bruised, period. I barely felt any stretch within the shaft or ligament (which I honestly don’t know what feeling to anticipate). I saw that many had this problem to start with so I’m still trying to control.

2. How much is too much when Jelqing?
Again, I’m uncut, so I chose to do the dry Jelq. The first three try were great, and I didn’t get any red spots on my penis after the session though I did get the pumped up feeling. Warming up/down definitely helped a lot because I remember I got the donut easily when I did it before without proper warmup. I also got nice morning wood the next day. The last jelqing session left several red spots on the glans, a couple on the shaft. I learned that these are just neutral PIs and it happens almost to everyone at a certain point. So I hope I didn’t overdo it. If I get one solid morning wood tomorrow, I’ll do one more session, otherwise I’ll take a rest.

3. What should the time frame be like? Can I add anything to it?
I know a lot of threads talked about this, so my collective plan is 2-3 months. If this works and I can stick to it till it no longer works. While I’m reading other devices, I’m particularly interested in the extender that I can DIY/purchase. I want more length than girth at this moment but according to what I read here it’s probably not wise to get anything before completing the newbie routine. Also on the side I do have a hydromax pump, and yes it was an impulsive purchase. I don’t know whether I should pick it up again anytime soon. Any suggestions? There’s a reason why I stopped using it. A swollen dick is what it provides, it pleased the eyes but the EQ was never good. I might have done it wrong but I also didn’t have that much time then. It’d be great to know if it could be of some use, not necessarily at this moment but in the future.

Hi, if you’re having trouble with grip when stretching I suggest using a rubber glove to start, but practising a C type grip similar to jelqing on the side of glans (just under the glans) like picking up a mushroom if you will, is my favourite, start off short stretches until your meat gets used to it. I find stretching too far too soon triggers the pull back safety mechanism early on. Same principle to the jelqing using C type grip avoids the sensitive nerves on top which early on can hurt if you squeeze too hard.

Your dick will get used to being stretched and start to relax more meaning easier manipulation. I used to go hard after the slightest touch but from regular stretches I’ve found more much control when exercising

Thanks for the tips Longforschlong! I’m using a similar grip but with my index and middle finger at this moment. It works just fine but I do need to improve my control.

I saw your post last month and we have very similar stats and kind of similar experience as well! It’ll all work out this time :)
