Newbie ramblings and questions
Hey guys, new here and excited to have found Thunders! I’ve been wishing to gain an extra half inch for the wife, but had resigned myself to just dealing with what I had. But I stumbled across the “gainers” post with pictures, sizes, and anecdotes that have me motivated and hopeful!
I haven’t measured “properly” yet, but will do that soon. Definitely excited to get started right away..
Like most newbies, I’m exceptionally worried about safety. Gaining a half inch wouldn’t be AT ALL worth any risk of permanent damage. I’ll be watching the warnings and cautions very closely.
I’m just wanting to keep the wife happy, but if I can carry a little extra bulge during the day I wouldn’t complain. I’m definitely a “grower”. My flaccid can be embarrassingly small, but full erect isn’t bad. Certainly nothing to brag about in these forums, but have never thought that I was “small”. Will do probably post pictures later. Need to find a decent ruler.
Working on losing weight. At 5’9” I hit a high of 241 last year, and now down to 220. Hoping to loose a little more fat and build muscle. Dieting consistently and working out 3 times a week with some extra cardio thrown in when I can get it. I do have some fat pad and stomach left, working on that as I know that’ll be an easy half inch. (Of course, easy is a relative term.)
I have kids running around the house before and after school, and the wife is here most of the time I am, so I don’t really get time to set aside for hanging or working on it normally. I’m willing to accept slower gains.. Also VERY interested in ways to do PE that are not apparent to other people living in the home. Spending an hour in the bathroom 4 days a week isn’t normal, and neither is laying in bed with KY and no good explanation. If anyone has a busy dad routine, I’d be very interested to hear. I can do a few minutes in the shower in the morning, and most of the time can stay up after the wife goes to bed, but need to figure out if/how to cover for a handful of KY when I’m supposed to be paying the bills.
I’m interested in ADS, but work in a professional environment and wear khaki and/or dress pants so need something undetectable from outside.
I’m a cheapskate, so I’m all about DIY or cheap solutions. Not terribly interested in spending $150 for the latest pump, but will jump right in on some hose clamps, zip ties, and theraband.
Q: I saw one post that suggested wearing a Cock ring during the day to keep it engorged and help as an all day thing. I think this is an excellent idea, as it will take almost no time.. But it didn’t go into detail. Is this a good newbie recommendation? If so, should I get one that goes around the base of the shaft? Metal or silicone? Should I get the bigger one that goes around balls too? Should I wear all day, or take off at intervals?
I’ve been interested in PE for a long time, and in the past had found a different forum (don’t remember where) that talked about jelqing, so I’m familiar with the concept, and have “sorta” been doing them for like a year or more. However, I was looking at the videos and screenshots here at Thunders, and apparently I haven’t been doing them right. Which leads to my next question:
Q: It looks like from the videos that the point of the exercises is to get MORE blood into the penis to stretch it out from the inside. Is this correct? I’ve been doing them, but have not been doing them firmly enough to make the head swell much. Have I been doing them too loose?
Also have only done jelqs dry or in the shower. Looking forward to trying wet to see if there’s any improvement.
Q: Reading about the stretches, are we trying to stretch out the shaft, or the ligaments that hold the shaft to the bone?
Q: When I was doing PE lite (see above) before, all the stroking during half erections would get me going, and I’d usually end up jerking off before I could finish a routine. Any tips to keep from getting too involved? Is masturbation during/after PE routines discouraged? Good or bad thing?
I’m reading lots of the forum and stickies, but I’m excited to get started so pointers would be MUCH appreciated. I know this was long, if you got this far, thanks for hanging in!
