How gently do I really need to do my newbie routine to see positive effects?

After every Session I plump up for about 5 mins then it shrinks and turtles.

Should my stretches be about 3/4 pulled and my jelques be tight enough

To hardly but pressure on it? Not getting it

Just make sure you warm up properly. When you warm up you have less chance of injury.

You need to put a little tension on your unit when stretching it. Otherwise it would be just as useless as going to the gym only to work light weights. Just try to feel what works best for you. If you go to the gym, you also start light and eventually you build it up. If you go straight to the heavy weights.. “Your gonna have a baaaaad time ;)
