Hi all; long term lurker, first (or maybe second, I can’t remember haha) time poster.

I’ve been pretty lax in the past with PE, probably actually started this time last year.. So I decided to really get into it starting last week. Been doing a pretty basic newbie routine, but not the newbie routine recommended here exactly:

5 minutes warm-up
15-20 wet jelq
10-25 stretching
Firegoat rolls

My problem is that after just these two weeks (which aren’t even over), I have an alarming soreness. I say “alarming” because 1) like another guy posting recently in this thread, I’m a workout enthusiast and know how soreness works and 2) obviously, it’s my penis and I don’t want to mess it up.

So, my question is: Is soreness normal after this amount of time? I noticed the soreness after 5 days on (last work week) but it was still there after two days off. I did my routine Monday, but haven’t done anything else this week because of the pain. I masturbated today to be sure everything was “working,” and thankfully it is, but this pain is still here.

The pain is kind of like a “I kegeled too much” feeling in the shaft, if that makes sense.

Further info: I generally take it slow and easy on jelq strokes (trying to get 3 seconds or more), and do it with enough pressure to really feel the blood go to the head. I didn’t think it was TOO much pressure, but after the pain on Friday and the weekend, I lightened up a bit on Monday. I do release before the head, and also I’ll add that I don’t think it’s stretching because the pain is in the shaft.

That says I’d go to an easier schedule. 2 on, 1 off features more rest and soreness wouldn’t build up like a 5 on, 2 off. Soreness is normal if it's more strain than your penis wants to take. So I would take fewer days on consecutively and see how it works.

Rest until you’re not sore, as it sounds like your PC muscle is fatigued. Then change your routine on and off days to 2 on, 1 off.
