Newbie looking for some tips

Alright so I just started the newbie routine last night. I was wondering how to correctly measure my penis so I can keep track of improvement. I would also like to know what type of gains I should expect. Currently, the way I have measured I am 6” BPEL or 6.2” BPEL depending how I measure, and I think girth is an average of base mid and top and that is at 5.333”. I am a big guy, and would like to have my penis look normal in proportion to by body. I’m 6’5” about 220. Like I said I just started last night and plan to do it again tonight. Could anyone tell me what I should expect, and if I get to where I want if I stop will I lose my gains? Thanks for any advice.

What’s up man. I just started 3-4 wks ago and I have gained some already. Starting out I was 5” bpel x 4.5” eg at the base, smaller at glans. Here only about a month in I’m at 5.5” bpel x 5.25 eg at base, with much more uniformity from base to tip.

Man, if I could give only one piece of advice I’d say don’t put any more pressure on your pecker than you would on an egg when jelqing. I PE’d for several months a few years back and when I started gaining I got too excited and drastically overtrained, losing any gains I made so I quite.. Until now. Regardless of what you BELIEVE you can handle just start with and stay the hell on a newbie routine and watch your PI’s and let them decide when to increase routine intensity. The way I did things before, I would jelq as hard as I could stand it and for as long as I could stand it. I put a ton of pressure into it. I WANT IT NOW!! Syndrome. Hmhmhm.. Just relax and have fun. Increase a little at a time, don’t try to rush ANYTHING. It could take several months to achieve your goals.

Hey lookin, how long do you jelk now? And how long is each stroke, is it slow or just a steady quick jelk? Plus have you clamped at all? Sounds like good gain for only a month. Could you post your routine or send me a message? m uch appreciated.

This is very much a Tortoise vs. Hare kinda thing. Read up and do your home work ahead of time. Then take it slow and be careful.

Same here when it came to jelqing. I used too much pressure the first couple of times I did it. I think for a newbie or a veteran, low erection level (under 50%) along with the advice I also just learned “NOT TOO MUCH FORCE” is the best way to increase length.

Exactly. I probably spend 30 or more hours researching posts on this board before I ever did one exercise. There is a ton of good information on this site with the good, the bad and the warnings that should be understood before starting any routine.

Mightgiveinn, I jelq each stroke for 3-4 seconds right now. As far as presssure goes I think of holding an egg in my hand and I use just enough pressure that I think would not break the egg. A few times during the jelqing session I will hold the jelq at the end for 10 or so seconds just to keep the head blown up a little longer. Anyway, here is the routine I’ve been doing

Hot shower warm up about 10 minutes
Light stretching up,down,side,side,out (15-20 secs each) for a few minutes
Jelq 15+ minutes (no more than 20)
Usually I feel like edging, so I do, 10 minutes or so. More or less

Yesterday I added a little more, I did 5 minutes of uli’s holding each one for 10-15 seconds. I didn’t use max pressure on these, just enough to get it good an full and hold for 10-15 secs. Get advice from others on starting these cause I don’t know where it’s goin yet, although I really enjoyed them. I also do a little bit of light stretching with bathroom trips and edge whenever I can, maybe 4-5 jelqs, whatever I feel like. I am enjoying myself and keeping it a relaxed effort. I think this is key, get all stressed out and in a rush and you WILL lose any gains you’ve made and probably hurt yourself and either have to start over later on or you’ll decide to quit for good. That is what happened to me. Just relax, find a comfortable routine and above all.. Have fun.

Holy shit! .75” gain in girth in less than a month of doing the newbie routine? Are you serious? That’s insane dude! This must be a record or something. You must be a really lucky guy! I wish I were the same. Good for you!

Thanks lookingtogain, I have started to make sure I do lighter jelqs enough to feel the rest of my penis get harder as I push away. I hope that the routine I’m doing works, I warm him in the shower and do about 5 mins of stretching in the morning, then I jelq at night before I go to bed. I’m not sure if this is a good idea, but that is what I have started to do.

I’ll bet increased EQ and discrepancy in his method of measurement makes up a significant proportion of this gain.

Alright so I read some stuff in the supplements thread and it seems like L-Arginine might help increase my size if I take it with zinc. They all use the powder type and say that is the way to go, but I really can’t stand drinking nasty stuff. Is it worth it to buy I capsule form?

Dude, when I started, I started with 25 to 30 mins of jelqing, I still gained a little bit probably because of the newbie gains but I had to be careful because sometimes I would get really big red spots that lasted like a week, and that’s how I learned to be more gentile with my tool, I wish I would have started really light and then start increasing gradually, but whatever, and I haven’t seen improvements in months, my eq was still there but my size was pretty much the same, now I just decreased my jelqing time to 15 mins and I’m trying to jelq at a 70% erection, but usually at the end I jelq at around 100%, I wonder if that’s bad for my penis, also I don’t hang or do any pumping, I just reduced my jelqing time to 15 mins now and in a month ill measure to see if I had any improvements. Does anybody know any manual exercises besides jelqing I can do for length and girth.. I don’t think I should still be doing a newbie routine, my routine right now is 10 mins warm up, 10 mins stretches(30 seconds all angles)and then jelq for 15 mins, last 5 mins I let my penis get more erect and do some jelq squeezes, usually by this time if I’m too erect and after lots of squeezes It makes me feel like I’m gonna ejaculate, then I warm down, the routine I do the next day is 10 mins warm up 10 mins O bends, warming up in between sets, then some light jelqing for 15 mins, and then warm down. Can anybody tell me if I’m doing anything wrong? I rather gain girth but wouldn’t mind some length either

Put the ruler down. Don’t measure again until your 1st month mark at least. You may be a slow gainer and you might not see any newbie gains, I can’t tell. Everyone is different. Measuring too often is a sure fire way to disappointment though.
