Newbie jelq-only routine

Hi all

I’m new to PE and very excited. An old friend of mine has been practising it for a number of years now, and in fact told me about it three, maybe five years ago. To begin with, I was dismissive and a little contemptuous, and forgot about it. However, the long and winding path of my life has led me back, and here I am.

I began jelqing two or three weeks ago. Apart from a small injury which freaked me out, and after which I took three days off, I have been doing a five days on, two days off routine, and though naturally there are no permanent gains to speak of yet, I am very happy with the “all-day hang” improvement, and am motivated to continue.

What I wanted to ask was this: what do you think of a jelq-only routine for the first few months? Like I said, I am motivated, but I am still getting a handle on this, and don’t want to get into anything complicated, or take on more than I can handle.

It seems to me that jelqing is the most fundamental PE exercise, and it feels to me like it is exercising my “unit” in this basic way should lead to gains in the medium term.

Do you think I will indeed get noticeable gains by consistently doing jelqing by itself? Assuming, of course, that I do it properly?

I would blend something else in it since jelqing can be powered further when fusioned with another exercise. Best bet for now would be manual stretches.

Like Lenny says I agree you need to do more than jelqing. Jelqing done properly where is isn’t a ULI/Squeeze brings in the blood flow to repair cells and tissue that has been damaged, but if there is no damage to speak of you’re probably not going to get much in the long run once your newbie gains from better health and clear blood vessels are realized.

I suggest adding manual stretching or Squeezes. Or simply each workout try a new exercise for a week or two and when you find one for girth and one for length that you like incorporate those into your workout with your jelqing.
