Newbie help

Been doing PE for only 3 or 4 weeks.. And I haven’t been consistent. BUT I am excited since my unit seems to have good potential for some good gains.

I have had maybe 10 sessions maybe even less within those 3/4 weeks, regardless I feel that I am improving and have already increased my routine. I am also better at performing my routine than when I first started. I hope to be more consistent soon when I have more time. My sessions last about 45 minutes to an hour. How would you advise me to increase my routine and when do you think it would be feasible to start adding new things to my routine.

Currently I am doing 10 35 second stretches with 15-20 second rest. Then I do 3 45 second stretches with 20 second rest. I then do 100 dry Jelqs. I warm wrap both before and after. I do between 50 and 100 Kegels not during the same routine, but I have been slacking on them.

After I am done with my routine I see an 1+ inch in gains.. Is that a good sign?

Thanks for your help,
~Bob

It is certainly not a bad sign. A bad sign is that you turtle up totally (read about PI’s).

But don’t increase your routine until you are satisfied that you have gotten all the gains you can from the current intensity level.

Hey, was thinking of starting to do p.e on the newbie routine but have one big question I couldn’t find an answer to.

If I do it for 3 months and get good growth if I stop doing it will I just end up slowly loosing all gains I’ve made in size?

Well I know personally I did the newbie routine for about three months and I got busy and completely forgot about keeping up with my workouts. Over the three months I had gained .25 inches in length and girth and now those gains are gone and I am trying to gain them back now.

Welcom to the Forum fergalmagee.

It is unusual to lose tha gains, althought you might find a slight loss when you stop as the most recent gain may not have been ‘cemented’

Just one point though on forum form.

It is usual, and best, to start your own thread, as if you and the forum starter get many replies it gets a bit confusing when members are trying to help.

Nothing to worry about at the moment though! :)

PE is kind of like this..

The newbie routine will give you X amount of results total, but, if you increase your routine before you finish getting gains from the newbie routine you will miss out on some of the gains.

Lets say you increased your routine before X. Instead of getting the full effect, X, you instead got only the results, Y. Now, provided you don’t hurt yourself by increasing your routine too soon, you can continue to get secondary gains (hopefully) which we can call B.

Now your total gains are either X+B or Y+B, if you continue on your second routine until you have maximized results. But, if you switch to yet another routine before you have gotten all of the secondary gains B, then you will end up with less than the maximum of B, which can be called C. Now, X+B is significantly larger than Y+C, all because you insisted on switching up your routine before it had yielded it’s full effect.

For a routine to yield it’s full effect is, of course, different for every person. But, a good guideline is 3-4 months. Longer than that is not uncommon, but I would be very wary about upping your routine before that period of time.

If you suddenly stop PEing after a couple months, you may lose some gains, but usually it is would be minimal. A couple tugs or jelqs every so often may help to keep the size.

If you were to become more consistent with your PEing, you might see more results than if you were to make your sessions longer. Exhaust all gains you can with your current routine before trying to modify or lengthen it.

Ok thanks guys.. Also is my routine a decent newbie routine? Should I be doing my routine daily, 2 days on 1 day off or every other day or maybe something else?

Thanks, I really appreciate the helpfulness and friendliness of these forums.

Make sure not to overdo PE. Both in intensity of the work out and too many workouts. If you are seeing negative PI’s you may be overdoing it.

From what I have read and experienced you gain on your rest days. I workout Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I rest on the other days.

Good luck!
