Hi guys, I’m pretty much completely new to all forms really of PE (I tried Jelqing but never really noticed any benefits I am willing to give it another go) As some of you here will be I’m not happy with what my genetics gave me some perspectives I’m 5” ELNBP and 5.5” BP(I think I’ll get onto that in a second) and have an EG of 4”, FLNBP of 2.5 when foreskin is over the head and 3” when pulled back and a FG of 1.5”. I do feel personally I need a circumcision ideally I wouldn’t have one, but it’s not always comfortable to pull back and I’ve had to go to A&E twice with it being stuck behind the glands, I have seen a private urologist but he was one of the most unhelpful and arrogant men I’ve ever met and he said there was nothing wrong, even when I told him any intercourse was very painful he just said deal with it, I’m seeing another urologist this time on the NHS but that won’t be till December hopefully he will be more useful. I’ll mention I have a rather large fat cap, I’m overweight (I’m 6ft 1” tall and weigh about 16st 5lbs I am on a diet and am losing weight steadily and tips on weight loss targeting the fat cap would be greatly appreciated if possible but this is hence the not sure on the BP).

I recently bought myself a a Hydromax x30 as it seemed it would help out a lot relatively easily however with my flaccid dimensions I’m finding it very difficult to benefit from the early pumping stages and and when it was pushing my foreskin over the head it was getting fairly uncomfortable and I was not reaching full erections in the pump. So I’ve started pumping straight from an erection, does this have an negative effect? If so how come?

In an ideal world I would just like to be above 6” ELNBP (obviously this may be out of the question but I never know) any other beginner tips would be welcome.

You’re going to get the same answer from all the experienced guys here; forget the pump and just do the newbie routine. That really is the best advice too. The Hydromax will be far more beneficial a few months down the line. There’s nothing wrong with going into it erect - I would.

There are lots of threads on Thunders about foreskin stretching and helping out with the sort of problem you have. I’m going to take some abuse from lots of the guys who are into restoration here, but if I were you I would take the circumcision if it’s offered (I was circumcised at 19 and have certainly never regretted it for a minute).
I hope the next consultant you see is not a prick (carefully chosen pun), Consultants of all specialities in my experience fall into one of 2 major categories; pompous self-important or the opposite.

The first question is unfortunately impossible to answer. Some guys get super fast newbie gains, then they slow down. Some guys get nothing for months, stick with it, then suddenly get fast gains. Some guys develop a really good feel for exactly what amount of force to use, others are too gentle, and probably the majority are too forceful. Some guys are natural easy gainers and some are hard gainers. If I tell you to expect x amount of gains and you don’t get them, you may give up, so all I’ll say is try it for 6 months, and see how you go; the first 3 months are just a learning curve anyway, when you learn how to do the exercise properly and feel what is going on in the tissues you are working.

Measuring: there are 2 schools of thought. If you measure regularly, which is tempting to do, you are unlikely to see any progress (and some days you will definitely measure less because it happens!) and you may be discouraged. However, you need to learn how to measure consistently, so if I suggest only measuring once a month, you may wonder if you measured the same as previously.
What usually happens is guys measure a lot to start with and they find ways to ‘maximise’ the readings they get, which is irrelevant because you are only measuring to see if you are making progress - the numbers are entirely unimportant! Learning to measure consistently is vital, so you should pick whatever method you find most repeatable. Standing, penis parallel to floor, ruler bone pressed on top of penis is a good start. Some guys like to have the ruler on its edge rather than flat - your choice..

I’d measure fairly regularly to begin with, then put the ruler in a drawer for al least a month!
