I came across this forum a few years ago back in college and didn’t really pay much attention to it.

Recently I hurt my lower back and also tore MCL in my left knee. Since I’m going to pretty immobile for next few months, I thought this would be the perfect to try PE with some dedication and considerable effort.

Also for my lower back and knee rehab, I just purchased a $900 Globus Sport Muscle Stimulator which I’m gonna experiment for Kegel exercises. This unit is actually FDA-approved for claims on muscle toning and gain, so hopefully this can end some of the speculations on whether a muscle stimulator work or not.

I don’t have a tape measure to do any measurements, but I’ll post some numbers as soon as I make a trip to Walmart.

How are you going to use the muscle stim machine for kegels? Stick it up your ass? ;)

The main measurement you are going to want to track your gains with is a

Bone Pressed Erect Length measurement.

You will find it very difficult to do a BPEL measurement with a tape.

Best to do that with a rigid ruler. Stand up, orient the ruler so that 0 is at the base of your penis. Center the edge with the numbers right down the center of your penis, and press the end with 0 into your pubic bone. Make note of the number you see.

Why is this an important measurement?

Because it eliminates the variable of your fat pad. That allows you to track your penis’s growth, rather than how much weight you lost last month, or how much water you retained after eating a delicious salty snack.

So get a tape measure at walmart for girth measurements and a rigid ruler for BPEL measurements. Rulers are about $1.29. But watch for falling prices! :)

GOOD LUCK on your PE workouts — I think it is great that you can spend your downtime while recovering on improving yourself in other ways — you will do great.

P.S. It is easy to do Kegels without an expensive machine.

Almost, I guess.

I haven’t really thought it through completely yet since I don’t even have the machine, but PC and BC ARE both muscles and can be trained. Muscle stimulators do a great job of reaching deeper muscles that you normally don’t use.

Globus Sport muscle stimulator comes with a few different setting including warm-up, resistance, explosive strength, etc. All the modes are fine tuned on amps, frequencies, intervals, etc for specific training type, unlike made-in-china crap you get off the ebay. I’ll prolly pass on anything that sounds too aggressive for my family jewels and stick with warm-up or resistance work-outs for now.

Like I said, I got this great machine for the rehabbing my knee anyways. Why not give it a try. I’ll just try it out while playing MLB the Show 08 on my PS3.

Do you place the ruler below, over or next to your penis?

I put the ruler flat on the top of my penis. So Looking down, I then position the edge with the numbers so that it is centered in the middle of my penis. Basically the edge is lined up with my urethra, bisecting my penis in half.

Some guys put the ruler to the side. When I do that I get an extra 1/8 or 3/16 of an inch over the way I normally measure.

But really, the only thing that matters is CONSISTENCY.

Just do it exactly the same way each time — it is basically to track how you are progressing.

As you go thru the thread you will see how great it is to do the BPEL measurement to track progress. (although Shunga does not appear to have much of a fat pad).
