New to PE and want to pump
Long story short, I got a pump without a gauge and pumped for a few days. Like 30-45 minute sessions of about 5 minutes in the tube, minute or two out and repeat. All seems good, no donuts or spots, and discoloration was limited to what looked like a mild sunburn which faded to normal within maybe a half hour or so. Then I hooked the bulb pump up to my brake bleeder (with gauge) and found I was pulling about 9”Hg which from what I’ve been reading lately is too much. So for sure I’ll be using the brake bleeder to pull 5” reliably from now on.
Seems like pumping for longer duration like 30+ minutes is normal, but not recommended for newbies? Question I have is, considering I have over pumped several times already with no problems as far as I can tell, should I be ok to go 30 or 45 minutes continuous @5”Hg? And if it’s not ok, would this be something that I would know immediately by discomfort and could stop before it becomes a serious issue? Would like to pump 5” for 30-45 minutes continuous going 2 days on and one off if that wouldn’t be considered overly aggressive.
Yeah I’m sure I should ditch the pump and stick to the newbie jelq routine but so far I prefer the pump to jelqing and besides, you know fucking special snowflake and all that happy horse shit prevents me from being able to easily follow that program.
