New to Jelqing

So I’m really new to this stuff and today I tried it for the first time. Full erect my penis is only 4.5 inches and I couldn’t jelq the way the directions said. My shaft is very short. I was grabbing more skin at the base than my penis. I was getting really frustrated.

Any tips?

Pull your skin foreward before you start jelqing and keep it foreward with the momentum of your jelqs.

What if I use one hand to jelq and the other hand to hold the skin at the base?

That works well. I get a better jelq with the skin held back, but I get lazy.

If I do it that way should I do it dry or with lubricant?

Absolutely with lube!

I can’t post a thread so I thought I’d do it here.
I’ve been jelqing for a month now and I gained 1/4 of an inch in the first 3weeks.
Do you think I can gain an inch in the next 8 - 12months?

My routine is warm up for 5minutes with a warm washcloth.
I don’t really do any stretches.
I do around 100 to 150 2-3 second wet jelqs.
1 day on and 1 day rest.

Starting 4.75 EL and 4.5girth.
Now 5.0 EL and I gained alot of girth, its very noticeable.

My goal is to be at least 7x6 in 2 years. Is it possible?

Possible? Yes. Probable? Who knows. There just is no telling how any individual is going to respond to PE. However, it is well-established that consistency and persistence in PE are necessary to make progress. Sometimes gains don’t materialize until after a routine has been pursued for months. Good thing is that you are getting quick ‘newbie’ gains, but they often have a way of just sort of stopping.

Well, yes, again possible, but 2-inch gains aren’t common, even among devoted PEers. How determined are you to find out if you can get there?

I would suggest you incorporate stretches in your search for more length. They can be difficult to do, meaning getting the stretch focused on the tunica + ligaments rather that just the skin, but many would say that stretches really are an important component of a length gain strategy.

Also when would be a good time to jerk off when doing PE exercises. Does it really slow your gains?

Skin shouldn’t be a problem if you’re using lubricant. I use olive oil. It’s good for your skin and there’s no lube on the market that you can get as cheaply. Plus it feels great.

You can jerk off whenever you want. Some people do it before a routine so that they can more easily stay at a moderate erection level (eg to prevent getting overstimulated to 100%) while others will masturbate after a session. Still others abstain completely. It’s totally up to you and there is no concrete evidence whatsoever that one way or another is better in terms of gaining.

Gaining 2 inches can take anywhere from 3 months to 10 years. That being said, the number of people who practise PE who actually gain 2 inches is a very small minority. This is to not say a much larger number of people are capable of gaining that much and more, but merely that, for one reason or another, most people will not put in the time or even want that much growth.

I put in alot of work and I do it consistantly.
This is the first time I heard someone using olive oil. I want to try that out this week.
I want to gain 2inches because I’m short down there and I’m asian.

So you’re telling me gaining 1-4 was a lie?
Do you know anyone from this forum who gained 3-4inches just from jelqing alone?

Oh, there are people who have gained 4 inches, I believe. But unlike gaining 2 inches, I think it is physiologically extremely improbable for most people to gain 4 inches. I don’t know of anyone who has gained even 2 inches from only jelqing, though there be some extremely rare individuals who have. If you want to gain lots of length, ultimately, you’re gonna want to get into hanging.
