Depends on the length of your penis and erection level! As long as you feel you are moving semi-trapped blood up your shaft, then you are doing it right. For most guys that’ll be around 3 seconds, but if you can do it slower that is good.

How long does it take to condition penis

I’m a newbie I believe. That’s the question though. I’ve been doing PE for 6 weeks. I started with pumping then added basic stretches and jelqs as I read and learned. Then I read that I need to scale back until I condition my penis. So I’m only doing warm up, 5 min stretches, 5 min jelqs, then warm down. So I’ve been ultra careful for 2-3 weeks now and I think I could handle more. When am I no longer considered a newbie?

Just keep slowly increasing what you are doing, keeping an eye out for any negative things happening such as poor EQ (search for the thread on Physiological Indicators if you want more info). Most people try to do too much too soon and miss out on the easy gains, so don’t increase what you are doing too fast. Conversely if you feel you are over doing it scale it back.

Generally the time before you can consider that you are gaining conditioning for ‘tougher’ exercises is around 3 months of consistent, progressive PE.

Thanks for the reply fire goat. I read the PI Thread. Great info. I stumbled upon PE researching because I had terrible EQ and was only getting up for sex, and even then probably only 90%. It has gotten much better since starting PE but it’s not great yet. So it’s not like I’ve experienced declining EQ but rather not gotten back to great EQ.

Since PE has improved it, I’m trying to decide if more or less is needed. It would be hard to do less. I have been doing one on, one off.

I am currently in the 4. week with 0.5 length increase but I just can’t get my curve to get better. :(

First time I did it, worked, running along with mild pumping. Second try, expecting more newbie gains, failed and gained none (this second try happened after 2 months break). That was my experience with Linear Routine. If you wish, more information could be find in my thread.

I have been on about the same routine you have been, originally just started pumping because I was curious what it could do/felt like. Once I read more into pumping and found out about stretching and manuals. I originally was like 5 days on 2 off. That’s too much, but the way I started to add more and more by upping my pumping time by 5 minutes. So I started out by doing 10 minutes in my pump. Eventually moved to 15. Then when I really started seeing results was by doing 2 sessions at a time. So I changed it again, 10 minutes some jelq’s then after that 10 minutes again. Then after about 1-2 weeks upped it to 15 still 2 sets. Then after a few more weeks upped again to 2 20 minute sessions and I’ve never been doing more than that. I will say I really started to notice my gains when I started doing stretching and jelqing with it.

Don’t play with dick for couple of hours after jelqing. Is this really important? Can you not have a boner or sex a couple of minutes after jelqing?

A lot of people like to edge after a PE session, myself included to some extent. Ejaculating however is not recommended because it causes some shrinkage after the fact, which doesn’t help growth. When it comes to sex however… PE should not interfere with sex, assuming you want a bigger unit for… Having sex, of course :D

So uh, I’ve been on this for a bout 10 days now, with an uneven schedule (just did a 3-on-1-off recently), and I’m wondering a few things.

Does the order of the workout matter? Having to do jelq then dry off for a manual stretch can be a bit annoying. Dry jelqing is hard for me because of my sensitive dick.

Does the hardness of the boner while PE count? I’ve read multiple clashing statements, but the wiki here states that for jelqing you need at least 50% hardness, but not maximum hardness, harder = girth, less hard = length, and all that jazz. Is manual stretching when flaccid okay? Usually I have a hard time getting it up again after jelqing for a while.

I also forgot to measure properly (in girth, especially) but I better let it out here, that I was 5.3 inch on day 4.
