Hello everyone,

My name is Tango and I want to introduce myself to you with my story. I do not know all of the terms abbreviations yet, please don’t blame me for that. Keep in mind that I am Dutch, so excuse me for any mistakes in spelling and/or grammar.

”Ever since I was a little boy (about 4 years old) I have been insecure about my penis length. For example, after swimming, we went into the locker room. All the other kids noticed my penis was smaller than theirs and they made fun of me, because of my small sausage. Now I am 18 years old and my penis size can be called average, at least, I think so. Before I started jelqing my size was about 13.9 cm (5.5 inches if I’m correct). I knew all of those porn stars had (sometimes) ridiculous woods, and thought that was probably an average size, so I didn’t worry too much about it until a while ago..

While taking a pee in a bar, a good friend of mine (he is bisexual), went for a pee right next to me. He took a glimp towards my schlong and he literally said to me: ”I expected you to be bigger.”
Feeling quite insecure about my size, I occasionally surfed the web. Two weeks ago, I found an article about jelqing. ”

About five days ago, I started jelqing, at a following all the steps they wrote, and I am already measuring a steady increase in erect length about 0,5 cm (0.2 inch), and more important: It is a lot wider now.

My question is: Can jelqing be harmful, when you do this for about 1,5 hour (it doesn’t hurt)? I love it, it feels so extremely nice to me.

Tango, if you are jelqing properly, 1.5 hours would cause major problems. Just follow the linear newbie routine and read the other threads linked here Important Newbie Threads/Info, and you should safely gain.

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

I didn’t do this yet, because I was afraid that something might be unhealthy. I warm up for about 30 minutes and the actual time spend jelqing was in the range of 20-25 minutes every day. Thanks for your answer!

Warm up is very important, but you only need to do it until your penis is well warmed through. A rice sock or microwaveable hot/cold gel pack is a great way to achieve that. An Infra Red lamp is my preferred warm up option.

Thank you for these tips, unfortunately, I can’t afford a infra red lamp at the moment, but the gel pack seems much more convenient than the washcloths I have been using so far.

I will definitely try this tomorrow!

I agree with Firegoat. You don’t need a 1/2 hour warmup, just until your wiener is warmed thoroughly. I started off with 10 min light jelq for the first 1-2 months and very slowly increased in time and pressure of my jelq. Personally for me that seems to work right now is a slow buildup and being patient with what your Russell the love muscle can handle. I also have a IR lamp and it’s been nice having constant heat during my routine for jelqing and stretching.

You’ve no need for such a long warm up but that time jelqing sounds fine. If you want to go further there’s nothing wrong with 90 minutes of jelqing (though a harder but shorter session would be better) but you would have to build upto that over several weeks.
