New Kinsey Size Study, you will NOT believe it

“New Kinsey Size Study, you will NOT believe it”

At the moment I don’t believe it. :)

Now I’m going to have to change my name to mrwaybiggerthanavg.

Thats a real good point, how many post have we got from guys with small units refusing sex because they were self conscious about their size. I know I did, I turned down quite a few because I thought I was to small.

One question that gets debated here is whether the “average” of what most women have experienced is a bit on the higher side because men with larger units, in general, sleep around more, owing to the increased sexual confidence, in addition to the fact that smaller men are less sexually active. What are your thoughts on this?

Taped onto the dashboard of a car at a junkyard, I once found the following: "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." The car was crashed.

Primary goal: To have an EQ above average (i.e. streetsmart, compassionate about life and happy) Secondary goal: to make an anagram of my signature denoting how I feel about my gains

I just don’t believe it. The global pool may explain part of the smaller size, but it would still be shocking. And why they wouldn’t choose to measure both BP and NBP is a terrible waste of an opportunity, IMO. I realize that BP isn’t terribly meaningful to a condom company, but making the distinction and requiring two different measurements would reduce the variability and influence of bone-pressing on the results.

For everyone else’s benefit, I looked at theyfit.com to determine what “B77” meant. “77” is the width portion of the size on their “FitKit” and it corresponds to anywhere between 4 1/4” and 4 9/16”. The B corresponds to the length and it is between 4 11/16” and 5 1/8”. Maybe it is dicktator’s focus on length and not the survey, but I’m not sure why a condom company would care nearly as much about length as they would about girth. One must only unroll more or less of the condom to suit their size, but girth variability isn’t so easy to accommodate.

I don’t think I’ve ever said anything about my goals, but one of my big milestones has been to have twice the average volume, which I had based on Size’s DB at about 14 cubic inches. If I were to believe this data and theorize that the average fat pad is about 1.25”, the average would be closer to 10.5 cubic inches. That would mean I pretty much started out at 2x, which again, as the thread title predicted, I do NOT believe it. If this study really exists, I hope they provide a breakdown by country.

Believe it, this girl really, really knew her stuff.
Since it is still unpublished, I doubt one can access it online.
Maybe somebody should email the kinsey institute to find out more details on the study..

The study does make sense since it is global and Asians average around 1 inch shorter than Caucasians.
That will bring the average down a bit.
And factor in the obesity epidemic and the fact that this is not Cancun with young hardbodies with minimal fat pads but a range of weights and ages.
The medical studies are pretty consistent with between 4.8-5.4 NBPEL so the numbers do make some sense.

For anybody who wants to play detective, call condomania at 1-800-926-6366 and ask about the Kinsey/Theyfit study on penis size.
Please report your findings here.
Thank you.

Length is very important because unused rolled up condom at the base acts as an uncomfortable clamp at the base, where the girth is usually the largest to begin with. Since condoms are designed for you to measure midshaft girth, condoms that are too long can cut off circulation and ruin the fit, even if the girth has been “sized” right.
Go to condomania.com and download the fit kit, search under theyfit condoms.
Length is just as important as girth.

The lady on the phone yesterday told me that the most common size gets 3% of the sales and it is their goal to have a more even distribution of sales, which she believes will happen with the expansion to 95 sizes.
In other words, many people have been forced to buy a condom whose length fits but whose girth is too tight or too loose. On the contrary, many people have been forced to buy a condom whose girth fits but whose length is too short or too long.

I fall into the last category, and have been forced to buy a condom that is too long for my girth.
Trojan Magnum XLs are way too long for me so they become too tight at the base due to the unrolled portion which is not only painful but cuts off my circulation and destroys my erection.

In theyfit size, I am really an O22, but they don’t currently make that size so I am forced to buy an O17 or a G22.
The O17 is good for my length but way too tight.
The G22 would be good for my girth, but is way too long, so it is not good for my girth because it kills my base.
Furthermore, nothing looks less appetizing than a condom that is too long — the sloppy long is very unbecoming.

Hope this helps.

Some additional sizing of condoms may be useful, but overall I see this as a marketing ploy more than anything. Latex rubber stretches…a lot! One size condom worked for decades, now we have around 3. This company is trying to tell us we need dozens of sizes. How can they get publicity for for their marketing scheme? Publishing controversial data would be one way.

Coming from “mravg” I am not surprised.
Condoms are designed to fit the average guy.
They never came even close to fitting me properly until theyfit.com came around.
Maybe there should only be one size bra. Or one size T shirts.
T shirts stretch, right?

NBP?

That was a interesting study.

Length goal:

Start: 15,5 cm (6,2 inches)

Goal: 17,5 - 20 cm (7-8 inches)

The measuring of thousands of random guys across the globe by physicians, how was that arranged? Did Theyfit, and/or Kinsey travel the globe, or did they pay for doctor visits?

Ha ha. What are you talking about? We don’t need different sized condoms! Regular condoms fit perfectly, like magic!

Seriously, I’m not saying a standard sized condom is perfect for everyone, but 55 different sizes sounds like bullshit to me. Look at how much hand sizes vary, yet latex gloves seem to make everyone happy with 4 to 6 sizes max (xs to xxl). Leatex stretches. You talk about the O vs G sizes. What is the actual difference between those two lengths. Oh, and dicktator, do you happen to work for condomania or theyfit.com?

I have no idea, but it would be cool if you could call the number to verify.
