Need some help

I’ve done a few searches and seen this problem mentioned but not really any solution to it suggested.
Here’s the issue:
I’m uncut and have been stretching (without really considering it) with my foreskin forward, gripping over the top of it. Last night I had a feel and noticed: whilst doing this all the tension is being placed on the skin and the inside is hardly stretched at all. I tried to pull my foreskin back and grip (with talc, a wash cloth etc) then stretch; in the few seconds I managed this I noticed A LOT more tension internally and hardly any on the outside (this has to be good right?) problem is after a few seconds my foreskin slips forward and the exercise is ruined.
Any ideas?
