Need help increasing erection angle...

I have been PEing for about nine months now and have seen some healthy gains in length and girth. I am currently about 7.5 inches BPSFL and about 5.5 inch girth. I am 50 years old and in good shape. I am interested in improving my erestion angle. When I was a younger man my erection stood straight up and now it points straight out. I realize some of the lost height is due to age and some probably due the greater volume and weight of my penis. Are there any effective exercises that I could incorporate into my routine to improve my erection angle? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Erection angles are all a matter of structure of the corpus cavernosa as it applies pressure to the surrounding ligament support structure. This explanation becomes a little dicey because we’re talking a lot about hydraulics. To try to make this short. The corpus cavernosa on the bottom and sides of the penis is what causes it to push the angle of the penis up against the suspensory ligament on the top. If the corpus cavernosa doesn’t contain the blood at the pressures it used to when you were younger the angle will drop. This is attributed to age mainly. I cannot think of any way that structure can be changed to produce the angle you had before. Understand also that the mechanism is also dependent on Blood pressure and the ability of the blood vessels to the corpus cavernosa to retain that pressure. As we get older those constrictors that kept us erect no longer function the same and subsequently we get ED. I’m not saying your are getting ED but what I am saying is that your youthful angle wont be maintained as you get older.

Boy don’t we all wish those days could come back.

The only thing I’d add to what Monty has written is that you could stop doing any downward stretching, as stretching the suspensory ligs will slightly decrease your erection angle. Long term avoidance of downward stretching, replaced with upwards, may create a little more ‘length’ in the underside of the penis and without compensatory growth of the suspensory ligs, may slightly increase your angle.

Unfortunately downward stretching is an important part of most PE sessions, and fairly vital for length.

Generally larger a larger penis will be less ‘upright’ than a smaller one, by virtue of it’s heft.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

I don’t want to get into a debate here but I have my doubts that even up angles will produce an improvement because while stretching the ligs up your also stretching the structures of the CC’s and that will not help the angle at all. Matter fact if you could just stretch and lengthen the lig all by itself that would also let the angle diminish. The only way that the angle can be changed is to pack more blood pressure into the CC’s causing them to drive the angle up against the pivot point of the ligs to the pelvis. I think we’re really talking about overall changes in anatomy due to age. Lets face it our joints were tighter when we were young but we can still do almost anything we used to. Our muscle culture was better when we were young but we can still do what we did then we just look different. Same here. I sometimes think we just have to live with what we have and become satisfied that for all intents and purposes we are fully functional and to chase what was would just be a big waste of time. Health is relative. If your healthy what is the problem? If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

I don’t know maybe I’m being cynical.

Erection angle drops. Nothing you can do about it (that I’ve found anyway). Just be happy with a bigger dick I say.

Why would you want to increase your erection angle? I have a relatively high erection angle that points up to the ceiling when I’m hard and it sucks I’m telling you. I’m very disadvantaged at doing some of the best positions in sex because of this. I wish mine would just stick straight out like others.

Monty: What you wrote makes much sense to me and I guess it is just a matter of getting older. Something we all need to accept, I guess. I do get frequent and very hard erections and I have great EQ but I guess it must be lower pressure then when I was a kid as this makes the most sense to me. I would think that all this PE’ing would bring those pressures back to previous years but maybe I’m wrong. My unit seems to be in the best shape its ever been but I cannot deny the effects of getting older. For instance, I lift weights and run regularly but everyday I wake up with a new pain somewhere else. Hey, at least I still have all my hair!

Firegoat: I am with you. I’ll take size over angle any day of the week! It would just be great to have both!

Absolute Zer0: Your comment also rings true. I remember my erection standing tall but I also remember being limited in sexual positions. Still, enjoy it while it lasts. I find that angle more aesthetically pleasing and I think it must be more impressive to a woman’s eye.

[There are quite a few threads on this subject and I don’t know which one to reply to, especially since they’re a couple years old]

I have the same issue. My erection angle has significantly decreased from when I was younger. When I was a kid and teen, it pointed upwards ,somewhere between 1 and 2 o’ clock. Now it usually points straight out to 3 o’ clock - sometimes slightly lower on a “bad” day, or maybe slightly higher on a good one - but it tends to be at 3 o’ clock.

But I’m not an old geezer like hard8 [I’m just playin man :) - I’ll get there soon enough]. I’m 26 now, and I have no problems with my sexual health. I don’t know to what extent PE has contributed to my loss of angle, but I certainly think it’s a major factor.

I want my erection angle to be as high as it used to be. I like the look (to be honest) and also I like being able to enter my lover (do people still say “lover” in 2012?) in missionary and various other positions without having to hold my dick and and leading it in, or without her doing it.

This is not really affecting me on a deep level, but I still wish I had that ideal angle.

I think the only thing you can try is hanging SO (straight up)

You can do that with a Bungee anchored at about eye level. Couple that with some fulcrums to stretch the tunica on the underside and I think you will see an improvement over some time. It would really depend on how aggressive you want to be. Doing that exclusively would stretch the underside of the lig which would allow it stand up easier but tunica work would be beneficial.
