Hey, I ‘m looking forward to learning and gaining from the experienced folks here. I have been PE-ing using the newbie routine (with a few other things thrown in) for 8 weeks now before I joined this site but, unfortunately have had minimal to no gains, maybe a slight increase in flaccid and a hint of erect girth. Here are my stats:

Married -9 years
Age-early 30’s
Height-5’11”
Weight -178

LOT-between 7:00-8:00
Flaccid—3.5 to 4 inches
Erect length (non boned press)-6.1 inch
Erect girth—-5.0 mid—-5.1 base
Goal—7-8 length x 6 girth would be very cool

Before coming here, I have been doing this for the past 8 weeks: 3 days on, 1 off

2-3 minute warm up
15 min. Wet jelq ( with aloe vera gel)
20 dry jelqs and stretches throughout the day when at a bathroom break. Hold stretches for 30 sec. Since my LOT is 7-8, I stretch up or straight out.
V-jelq in shower at night—50 reps

I need some help because I’m starting to get frustrated. I see some guys here who gain very quickly and I get discouraged because I’m not seeing the same progress. Is it time for me to add some Uli’s or dry jelq? Or maybe increase my time? How about exclusively dry jelqing?

Finally, I’m in good shape and lift weights religiously. My wife had our 2nd kid 3 months ago and she said that sex isn’t as intense because she feels “looser” down there—-that’s why I started to do this. Our sex has always been good, she always orgasms and I can last all day, but I never get that “Wow!, oh my goodness!. Type of response. She says we are fine but I know things could be better. I told her a “little” about PE and what I wanted to do and she started to get pissed (rolled her eyes and said “whatever”) at me because she says it’s weird so I left her alone and gathered that I must be a stealth PE-er with no devices allowed. Can anyone help steer me in the right direction? Thanks, and I look forward to the gains I will make.

Like Thunder said, have your wife do some kegels on a once a day or once every other day routine. Something moderate that will improve over time, and doesn’t require much out of her.

PE for yourself, and don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Everyone is different, which means everyone will to some degree react differently to these exercises. It doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong because you aren’t HungLikeHolmes overnight.

As for your routine….I wouldn’t incorporate any advanced maneuvers yet. Continue what you’re doing except double your stretch time. It seems you’re lacking in that department of your routine. Do that for 3 more weeks, then ask us about some advanced techniques when you feel your penis is up to it.

Thanks, xlmagnum, I will add more stretching into the routine. Would one type of stretch be better than another—for example AI stretches versus timed holds? Also, I’m thinking of switching over to dry jelqs because A) it seems better in terms of privacy and I wouldn’t have to explain to my wife any stickiness or weird smells, and B) I seem to get a better, more deep pulling sensation, like I ‘m moving more blood around compared to wet jelquing. Is dry jelq considered to be an advanced technique?

raw, how much privacy do you have? It doesn’t sound like you have a lot. I think you somehow need to find more time to stretch.

If you have can — maybe while lying in bed or when you’re in the shower — try manual BTC stretches. It’s a stretch that can be held at high force for a long time. I do them while lying in bed or on the couch with my knees up. If I’m under the sheets or the comforter my wife can’t tell what I’m doing, and you can quickly release the stretch when she climbs in the sack. Here’s a variation.

With a LOT of 7-8 I think you can still benefit from straight down or between the cheeks stretching. Your LOT is a helpful thing to know, but it should not discourage you from doing stretches that emphasize your ligaments.

The manual BTC stretch can stretch both ligs and tunica if you grab your dick just below the glans, so that you’re stretching as much shaft as possible.

For privacy, I try to get up 5:00am, before everyone else. I have always been an early riser, so I don’t think my wife will be on to anything. I have told her that I would like get a little bigger and thicker down there and she just rolled her eyes and said, “well, if you want to try and do it, it will be because YOU want it, not me, but if you get too big it will hurt me.” She says that I’m fine the way I am and that I don’t need to do anything. I just told her about kegels and some “sqeezes” that I was gonna try, so I’m not totally secretive, but if she saw me jelqing, she would be pissed and accuse me of masterbating, which is a no-no to her. We are very conservative Christians and she says that “if you are married you should have no need to do yourself.”

In the AM, I can usually do my 15-20 mins of jelquing with no interruptions. I also do about 50 jelqs in the shower at night, and, for the last couple of weeks, have been doing about 150 dry jelqs in the afternoon before she gets home from work ( I always get home before her). I posted another thread that asked if there were any benefits to doing one longer workout versus a few smaller sessions throughout the day. As for stretches, does it matter if I do AI stretches or timed holds?

A couple of comments here. You stated that your wife said this:

That seems a bit inconsistent on her part and just wanted to make you aware of that. Perhaps a good communication session is needed to let her know that what she said you take seriously and your sex life is very important to you and you want it to be the best it can be, for both of you.

More than likely it is girth that will intensify your sex again with your wife and not length. Since having children, it is her width, not depth, that has gotten larger (though only mildly in reality). If she will perform kegals, which her ob-gyn should have adviced her to do anyway, and you make some girth gains you will be amazed at the intensity that comes. Even a 1/4 to 1/2 inch gain in girth will make a big difference.

I personally think there is greater benefit to doing longer stretches. I think that’s why hanging works for most guys. Short stretches create an elastic response; longer stretches, at moderate to high intensity, create that plastic deformation that results in permanent gains.
